How has the MTS Centre changed so far??

Bruins fan here, but a Canadian that was thrilled to see the Jets return home. I'm loving the success they're having right now!
I was keeping up on your MTS Centre Renovations thread but it's seemed to have died off. Just wondering what renovations took place and some fans' opinions on how the place holds up as an NHL barn. Good luck this year, take the Leafs' or Habs' playoff spot

There's actually an article about this exact topic in the Jets gameday program. To summarize:

-Huge overhaul was apparently needed for the ice plant. It wasn't up to NHL standards prior to this season.

-Press box was expanded last season, with a second level added on to the bottom of the existing box.

-Pebbled epoxy floor in the concourse. Before it was drab concrete.

-300 level concourse completely overahauled, more concessions and merch stands added. Many concessions built into the walls to help widen the concourse.

-Both dressing rooms expanded, visitors room in particular.

-Other miscellaneous stuff (eg. NHL specification boards and glass).

It's a decent barn, nothing special. Utilitarian is how I'd describe it. The only other NHL arena I've been to is TD Banknorth, which I found utilitarian as well, though I do like its layout a bit better than MTSC. The way I see it, It's a hockey arena, not an amusement park. I'm not there for bells and whistles.

They added more press boxes, they removed a suite and use it for the cameras, more cameras, more Jets merch stores/kiosks, they have this carousel of Jets Jerseys going round and round, new floors, the Budweiser Club has been totally renovated and I haven't been up in the 300 level but I know major upgrades there, they added Jets logos all over the place, NHL banners as you walk through the west side of MTS Centre and lots more.

At the first pre-season game I noticed the soap dispensers in the bathroom (lower-level) still had the Moose logo on them. I can confirm that they've since been changed.

I did notice today that the mousepad the lady was using in the box-office had the Moose logo on it.

Calgary has blue seats. you'll never notice the colour unless there are empty seats anyways.
