Just dropping by to say good luck. (But not too much luck, haha)

Should be a fun game.

Hell, the Detroit boards don't even have a GDT made for this game yet, so I'm pretty sure I know how they feel about us and us being in their division next year. And several Wings fans are already predicting Winnipeg relocating very soon

I disagree with the stuff about Detroit. I've been reading their GDT on Letsgowings (where most wings fans go and where I used to be active) and some of the posters have been saying their happy we got a team back and hopefully we can even get a rivalry going. haven't seen one negative comment.

On second thought, don't bother. It's a waste of time, and all the haters will be proven wrong when we fast-forward 30 years from now and rub their noses in the fact that we have won 20 Stanley Cups

So even though one poster is saying that and almost every other is disputing what he says, you can say that several Wings fans want Winnipeg to relocate?

Geez, not every one is out to get you and you should learn how it feels for a majority of people to want your team to leave.

I look forward to watching the game. Both teams will bring their best to the Joe Louis arena. I expect it to be a close game for the most part. Detroit has a very good team but so does Winnipeg. The Wings will discover in Winnipeg a most worthy adversary tonight

The Wings punted us out of the NHL in 1996, a victory today would be sweet!

On a side note, I never realized how many Wings fans there were in Southwestern Ontario. I knew that Windsor had quite a few, but there are tons from Winsor through to London; many more than I expected!

If Pavs plays tonight like last 4 games, then Jets have a chance. Jets have shown they can win low scoring grinding games against tough teams and I think we need that strategy today. Pavs has the potential to steal this one.

Detroit's obviously a good hockey organization. Gonna be a lot of fun playing them more often next year. Lidstrom's got to retire eventually.

Having said that, we were pretty much wrote them off against Boston as well. Anything can happen, and I hope to be proven wrong!
Speak for yourself! I didn't write them off against Boston! I was quite confident we'd win that game! This game however, yeah, I have my doubts. But only because we're on a back-to-back where the boys didn't get to Detroit until early this morning and that we're playing them at home. If it was a home game with both teams rested, I think we could take them for sure.

Going to be a tough one! Game last night, late night. Atleast None of our forwards played 20+, and the 4th line got some icetime. Hopefully Antropov comes in. Maybe he can get some players going, take some pressure off Kane, Little, Wheeler. Other lines will get chances with checking lines and top d playing against that top line.

I would be happy with 1 point. Or even a close 1 goal game. Win would be huge though. Could come down to Pavelec, Little and Kane again.

I am just hoping for 2 out of 4 points in these next 2 tough games.
