St Denis Re-assigned to the Bulldogs

http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/news.h...id=DL|MTL|home

I guess he did alright, "serviceable" is probably a good word. Sucks after scoring you're first goal, but with Campoli on his way back, and KABERLE?!?!?! Really?!

St.Denis definitely made a good impression in his time here, not flashy but quietly effective and smart on the ice. I can see him in the plans for next year, though he may need to go through waivers to go back to Hmailton(for 2012-2013).

Our D is too small to have a 5'11 7th defenseman... We miss this big, mean blueliner.

I hope to never see St-Denis again. Nothing against the kid, just not a good fit

He did fine, much better than Weber or Diaz. We'll see him as a call-up again.

Not sure what planet you are on, but he was solid for a few games, overall Diaz and Weber contributed a lot more and had bigger roles also.

he did a good job filling in. he was reliable and managed to put up a couple points.

it is nice to be able to go so far into our depth chart and still find a serviceable guy.

i look forward to more progression from st-denis in hamilton

but now it will be nice to get some more experience back on the blue line!

He'll be back battling for a spot next year and I'm sure he was told before being sent down that he's in this team's future.

He has more goals than Kaberle and Gomez combined together.

Just like in Hamilton, St. Denis exceeded initial expectations. He's not a top 6 D on a winning team in the NHL though. Hope he rips it up in the A.

"thank you for scoring your first NHL goal. As a thank you, here's a plane ticket for Hamilton. That was maybe your last NHL game."

I'm glad the Habs aren't losing him. He's a good depth player.

Their production rate isn't that different. Kaberle at ES is at 1 point per 87 minutes. St-Denis at ES is 1 point per 89 minutes.

Kaberle is a -12, St-Denis is +1.

Kaberle makes over $4M, St-Denis makes league minimum.

Now I'm not saying St-Denis is as good as Kaberle but there is more to the story then what you show.

i think he was being sarcastic...

Kaberle also has 12 seasons of NHL experience including 931 games and 454 assists. there is a reason he makes over 4 million$. as for his plus minus eric stall is -15 does that mean he is bad?

Spot on !

And I agree about the rest, people need to chill out, if Kaberle turns it around, we'll have a very potent offensive weapon from the back end, just need to pair him with a defensively responsible D, like Gorges or Gill...

And I liked St-Denis in his short stint, I honestly didn't think he'd be that solid.

Definitely a surprise, and definitely pleasant. Hope to see him start killing it in Hamilton after having tasted the compete level in the bigs.

It depends make up of our team but he's a darche type. More of a 13-14th fwd or 7-8th dman. Nothing wrong with that. Cheap safe player as a back up option.
