The team sucks though. Tonight was not a surprise. This performance is officially par for the course.

It's to the point of ridiculous now. We got guys down in Norfolk who are absolutely ripping **** up, but we don't call anyone up. Had two forward injuries against the Rangers, sent back Connolly and yet we call up ****** Blair Jones (who played a whopping 5:52 tonight) instead. This team needs some sort of boost especially with Marty maybe out for awhile, so when are we going to get it? Make a trade. Give Ashton a look, sign Conacher already, call up Johnson, or Barberio for defense. This team desperately needs a jolt. A shot in the ass. We're not going anywhere with ****ing Blair Jones and Bruno Gervais (who played a 7:41 tonight yet still had a ****up leading to a goal and a penalty).

Do something.

The refs were horrendous, and after the first period we were horrendous.

Sigh. Huge lost opportunity to build momentum coming home after the rally call in NY.

And I dont care what anyone says. Garon needs to make the save on at least one of the two first Philly goals. Beat glove side both times so clean. Even if the Jagr goal was deflected it was far enough out to be able to react. Im not asking for a miracle, Im asking for a good save in a difficult time of the game. We still arent getting that from either goalie. Making huge saves when the game is pretty much over means jack ****.

None of the big 3 are the problem, Vinny on pace for 30+, depending on how long he is out can still see Marty breaking 25.

The problem is the disappearance of any scoring depth, 10 players had 10+ goals last season, this season we will be lucky to have 6, more likely 5 (depends how Connolly plays when he gets back).
