Hot garbage.

My post was in response to the poster saying Calgary is a much better team. They aren't.

You are 100% correct. I am tired of seeing the Flames run the Oilers show but they have been the better team for years now.

The Flames are better but they're still dreadfully mediocre. Kipprusoff is making sure they don't tank. The sooner Feaster wakes up and realizes that the clock is ticking on both Kipprusoff and Iginla and trades them away...

The only time the Oilers have won this month is when they faced a team that was playing the Oilers on the second night of a back to back. And it's not like it is a long trip to Calgary from Edmonton. Plus the Oilers had a long rest and looked like ******* against Carolina.

But yes blame the schedule for the losses.

Let the Flames think that - I'm sure that Feater is milking it on After Hours as I type this. These losses continue to twist the knife but it's beneficial for us in the future (hopefully) if they continue to finish out of a position to draft top five.

Carolina beat the Oilers on the 2nd night of back to back games. Actually they didn't just beat the Oilers they kicked their ass.

What does that say?

Much better? They've been below the Oilers pretty much all season.

I noticed you showed up after a loss, again. Cool lol.

On other note...

I've been wondering, are the Oilers a bad team or a team that just doesn't put the effort in?

When they actually play like they give a damn they've been very good, but often they don't put in the effort and thus look poor.

I know we're not a good team but I think we're better than we've looked for awhile. They just don't put the necessary effort in.

Sure it is. He said the schedule was BS and then implied they didn't have enough jump or intensity because of it. What was the excuse for Carolina coming in on the end of a back-to-back and running their show?

True enough but we've also played the most games in the West at thirty and have had a number of road back to backs already this season.

Detroit/Boston? Dallas/Nashville? Colorado/Minnesota? That's pretty brutal.

Off topic but Derek Smith looks like a player. Maybe less skilled than Petry but much more effective tonight.

The Flames are exactly where the Oilers were pre-lockout. Period. Funnily enough, we ran their show for a period of time prior to their little 2004 run.
