I basically have no idea what the hell is going on in Drew's head.

Probably Dollar signs.

That's Brown's way of calling people out, He is not going to name names. But last year in that awful slide the Kings were in; Brown said something similar.

Well if they have then they've also given up on each other and the fans so they should be shipped out of here. I don't buy the "won't play for the coach" argument. They should be playing for the guy sitting beside them in the dressing room, and for themselves. I've never met a hockey player that was happy with losing and would do it just to get rid of a coach. It's an easy excuse for the fans to use and nothing else

I don't really have any problem with Brown as a captain (as a player this is different). The fact of the matter is, one guy can't make everyone play well or be motivated if there's all sorts of issues players are having with the coaching staff. There's nothing Brown can do about it. Sports have become that way.

If anyone is having motivational problems they need to be shipped out. Don't care what their name and number on the sweater is really, they need to go.

Dude, Lombardi isn't playing hockey or coaching the team. He brings in the best players he can to help the team win. So if you think Quick, Doughty, Williams, Penner, Richards, Gagne, Richardson, Johnson, Bernier, Mitchell, Scuderi, Greene, Stoll, Voynov, Loktionov, Mitchell and everyone on Manchester all suck, then yes it's Lombardi's fault. But I don't think that so I can't blame Lombardi for the teams play.

I agree

I can think of only one instance that (Might) have been true. Tampa with Melrose, But the players did play hard still. Benching Stamkos is probably what did Barry in.

At the end of the Day the Kings Players have to decide they want it. Right now it looks like they are just happy to show up to the Rink and play a little Hockey.

Let's make Hextall GM, Luc coach and just for ***** and giggles have Hextall down on the bench with him. We might love every game 10-5 but god damn atleast we would lose entertainingly and get to watch Hextall go nuts.

First time listening to Kings talk tonight and it sounds like Nick is in board with the fire Murray brigade. Nichols sounds like he is in board too, even though he didn't want to come right out and say it.

BTW, dancing boy has quit hockeybuzz. He's going nuts on twitter now.

Well, it shouldn't have to come to players having to quit on their coach. Maybe Brownie should try and rally his troops. And if can't, he should be the one visiting DL in his office. Captain has to recognize what's best for the team. And that doesn't mean being just a "yes man".

That should be Terry Murray's last game as coach of the Kings. This team needs a makeover or some sort of trade to scare some guys-not a minor trade, a major trade where supposed core players (a losing core) are shipped out. Too many laid back personalities, very little Stanley Cup experience and arguably the worst captain in the NHL right now.

Lol, not sure, but I was reading posts on his last blog and its mentioned there. Doubt he'd quit, seemed to love spouting nonsense on that site.

Nick Nickson indicated at the end of Kings Talk that he thinks that if the Kings' struggles continue until the end of December that we may see some changes made.

How do you know he's not, as well as the other 2 captains in the room [who btw, always seem to get a pass]. There's not a single person on this boards who knows anything that said behind closed doors by Brown,Kopitar or Greene. Sometimes there's nothing a captain(s) can do as the ship sinks.
