Hmmm ... A fast team, that practiced in park yesterday, with the Rangers having played last night .... yeah I'm not feeling the love for this one but maybe they find a way.

The Flyers are on a 5 game winning streak. We need to match this kind of momentum.

Florida is one of the teams we might be competing with for home ice advantage in the playoffs late this season. This is a big game.

Agreed. It's been a long long time since Rangers/Panthers game had some juice. Nice to see them doing well this year.

Florida skated in Central Park before the game.

There is no hope.

We should hold our morning skates at CP, too. We'll go 41-0-0 at home.

This will be a tough game.

We just played last night, Florida rested. We played sloppy last night but were the beneficiaries of bad goaltending. We won't be so lucky tonight.

Henrik's worst month of his career has always been December. Including OT, he's 32-33 with a 2.68 GAA and .908 SVPCT.

Easily the worst stats of any month.

http://www.hockey-reference.com/play...dqhe01/splits/

He hasn't played great the last few games. Even when he makes saves, he's putting rebounds in the slot.

Don't get me wrong..I'd rather him be clutch in March and April (which he has always been) and mediocre in December. But the team might have to lean on him tonight to steal one against what looks like a better team.

I'd love to see a statement game tonight

On a side note, the Rangers will finally be even in games played with the Pens on January 6th.

I have a huge dilemma, Rangers at 7:30, Dexter at 9, season finale of Boardwalk Empire at 9, and yeah, I have a DVR, but I want to watch all of them. Ugh, looks like only 7 hours of sleep for me tonight, oh well. Worth it.

Your right and it shows the talent that Dale Tallon has at his job. Turned a dying Chicago franchise into a cup winner and a consistent cup contender, and is slowly doing the same thing with Florida.

Good for them.

Is it just me or does anyone else think statistics like this are useless?

7 hours? Consider yourself lucky. I have to wait until 11 to download and watch Homeland, then have to get up at 6:45.

I have no class tomorrow due to finals, so I have time for the Rangers and Boardwalk Empire (which is going to be the best hour of television ever FYI), then more studying.

Theodore also played well for the Wild last season.

I really like Theodore, hope he can falter tonight, but otherwise, it's great to see him doing so well.
