What is really cool is that Kreider's stats in college are looking very similar to the way Hagelin's career path went with his stats. Both had good soph seasons but really turned it on in their junior seasons.

Talk about developing the home grown prospects the right way! Not sure who will have a better NHL career Hagelin or Kreider but they both have been primed, ripe and ready without rushing them at all

It is a seamless transition with Hagelin going to the Pro level going to a great organization on a great team with lots of veterans on the NHL roster. It should be the same transition with Kreider. Almost a perfect way to develop prospects from beginning to end.

From a Rangers perspective it would be terrible news if Kreider doesn't have a career that is head and shoulders above Hagelin's. Kreider is the org's first change at developing an all-star caliber forward since Kovalev.

Agreed.

You hope for your guys to make it right into the NHL, but Kreider has a boatload of higher expectations than Hags ever did and probably ever will.

Could you imagine the speed in the lineup with those two? I wish one of them played center so we could see Kreider-Hagelin-Gaborik, the goal-every-few-seconds line.

kreider is expected to be a #1 lw eventually. if hagelin becomes a 2nd liner thats allready exceeding expectations. boyle has been a stiff this year, i think thats holding his production back a bit.

Yeah, sorry to go OT, but it's going to be great to get Kreider's speed in the lineup next year. Will he play with Gaborik to make a lightning fast line combo...or will he set up next to Richards? Going to be fun to find out!
