The Rangers are tied with the Islanders and SJ for fewest games played at 27. The Rangers have the fewest losses in the NHL at 6. 17-6-4.

If the Rangers didn't blow the 2-1 lead late in the 3rd to TB,the Rangers would be in first place in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight concluded a stretch of 16 straight games against Eastern Conference teams. The Rangers went 12-3-1.

One more stat. Katie Strang

The Rangers host the Stars on Tuesday. They played in LA last night. Fly across the country to finish off their road trip on the east coast. @SJ,@LA,@Rangers,@Islanders and @NJ. Who made that schedule? Richard Bachman is expected to start for the Stars after he registered his first NHL win in his first NHL start against the Kings.

I just got back from the game now. There was no way the attendance was 18200, but whatever. Awesome game though.

I think it was the acronym that confused him, not the actual concept.

The unused tickets were probably sold, though.

Really nice effort tonight, though we all know the cats can play better then this.

It is great to see us consistently winning loose pucks. Rebounds are a big part of our wins this year.

Steppy!
Then everyone else equally

In addition to the Stepan, MDZ, Eminger, hank and so on, i thought Christensen had a really solid game tonight and earned himself another game. I don't really like him as a player but Avery has been so ineffective the last 5 games and Christensen looked pretty good on the PP and was making some nice passes all game.

Beating one of the top teams in the league 6-1 was of course only a fluke, Florida had a bad day, or it's because of the MSG ice, or whatever.

If/When Dubi gets back on track, this team is going to be downright scary.

If we were to also somehow add a few guys like Gleason and Ruutu and when Staal and Sauer get back...Ooofa

Stralman has been much better than Woywitka imho. Woywitka has not been all that good here.

Stralman has been atrocious. His defensive positioning is beyond awful. It hasn't resulted in any goals yet, but it will eventually. He has poor gap control, lousy stick work, and just flat-out loses his man very frequently.

Not that Woywitka inspires that much confidence either, but he has looked worlds better than Stralman IMO.

totally disagree, woywitka moves himself into trouble when he has the puck, stralman doesnt. they both play about the same man to man, so imho, the big difference is their play with the puck...woywitka does not make smart decisions out there...he takes too long and the time and space evaporates.

Neither Stralman nor Woywitka will be in the starting lineup when our D is healthy. Come playoffs unless another injury occurs or Staal suffers a setback it will be

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Sauer
Del Zotto-Eminger

in all likelihood.

Man o man, what a match this was. I expected a win, but not 6-1. MotM for me is without a doubt Derek Stepan. He is going to be a big one! Only 21 years old and so important for our team.

It was a good draft back in 2008 with us getting Michael del Zotto and this guy...
