John Dellapina's Top 3 reasons why the Rangers have turned it around

1. Coaching
2. Philosophy
3. Roster assembly

As part of the organization's philosophy

Quote:
As they approach the March 9 trade deadline, don't expect the Rangers to be pursuing major deals to remake their team for a playoff run. Convinced that their current mix is a good one, Sather, Maloney and Renney aren't interested in exhausting their $5.1 million in cap space to try to buy a Cup

Having cap money available is the key to the new NHL. It provides flexibility. I'm glad to hear that they are staying with the philosophy they started the year with. Stay the course. We don't have to go for it all this year. One step at a time.
