Haha, I know... for about five seconds I contemplated selling my tickets to tomorrow's game on eBay. Not really. Ok, maybe a little bit. Anyway, hopefully this is nothing more than the Flyers being super duper uber cautious (as they should be with Giroux), but I still can't help but think of the worst.
On the bright side, Giroux being out gives Couturier a chance to center the first line with Jagr and Hartnell. And if what we saw against the Lightning is any indication, that unit is going to continue to dominate. I'm expecting a three-point night for Couts. I bet he has his best performance to date.
I understand the note of panic, but y'all do remember that Roo has been concussed before and only missed a few games as a result, right?
You act like this is good news? lol
For the non-medically inclined, getting a concussion makes you more prone to a second. Getting a second makes you even more prone to a third. Multiple concussions, even if extremely mild, by the age of 25 isn't what I'd call good news.
I hope they sit him down for as long as it takes for him to feel completely and 100% healthy after multiple rigorous practices, if that's 1-2 weeks, we'll survive.

Not exactly good news...
...but it isn't like Crosby, for example. Sid hasn't been hit all that hard for any of his concussions. Some guys just seem more susceptible to these than others.
It wasn't Simmonds fault, Giroux fell down right in front of him. Holmgren said he was feeling better which is always good. My guess is he doesn't go to Montreal either and is ready for action on Saturday at home against Boston.
It's OK, I'll probably lose again when I'm unable to put a key roster player on active because I forgot to do it earlier in the day and my phone won't let me do it.
Edit: Oh, never mind. I won last week. Fancy. 9-1!
Exactly. Which is amazing why everyone is freaking out.
The most I've seen is "concussion-like symptoms" and everything here seems to be precautionary.
Concussion-like symptoms doesn't necessarily mean concussion. It means he has a headache or something and they would rather be safe than sorry. I'm fine with him sitting a few games considering how valuable he is to the team. Some people need to chill on freaking out like his career is over.
