alot of road games in there so but theres that week stretch from the 20-27th where they're staying local even though they're away. id like to see them grab 8-10 wins in december and stay healthy. we can really assess this team and see where we're at during all-star break

So far we are better than anyone has predicted.

Didn't a few say we wouldn't lose a game?

Still better thus far than I thought we'd be. I think we've been slightly worse than our record (i.e. we've beaten some soft teams/goalies and pulled out some games we maybe didn't deserve) but I'll take it for sure!

If Crosby is out any significant amount of time, the Rangers may be in position to leap the Penguins, especially even in points with 3 in hand. Rangers/Flyers/Penguins and the battle for home ice/Atlantic Division is going to be a war as we turn into 2012

WC could very well turn out to be for first place in the Eastern Conference. HBO couldn't have scripted it better.

Meh, I just want Crosby to play at this point. I'm sick of seeing them dominate without him, he might as well just play..

Well I wanted 10 wins and to beat the isles twice and beat the flyers. Were at 8 wins and 2/3 way there. No reason why we cant go 3-0 for 11 wins, but Ill be happy with 10 wins, just beat the isles monday.

If someone would have asked me how the Rangers have done so far in December, I would probably have said they struggled a bit.

Then I see that they have actually gone 8-3-1.

I want to see what their record will be when they are rolling, a Bostonesque 20-2-1?

If we win on Monday, it will be the first time since the 1993-94 season that we had three five-or-more-game winning streaks in the same season. What's even more remarkable is that we are still in December, when in 1994, the fifth game won on the third streak was in April.

We have 17 of a possible 24 points thus far. If we can somehow get 5 points in our remaining 3 games and finish the month with 22 out of a possible 30 points, you have to be extremely pleased as a fan.

10-4-1.

Games wrong but right on the record

10 wins in December is great. 21/30 points. Let's keep this rolling for January.

10-4-1 is a great month. I had actually picked them to do better but I am very pleased.
I know in March they play 17 games which I think will be good luck since we will celebrate St Patricks Day on March 17th with a win vs the Avalanche.

Got the 10 wins and my wish to beat the isles twice and the flyers...I am very happy. Didnt expect us to be in 1st place in the conference with 50 points either!! Beautiful boys. Lets start off January strong in the classic

And we did. We got 21 out of the 30 possible points, which is 70%. Top team in the East, contending for the President's Trophy. That's better than anyone expected we'd have at the end of 2011.
