The game at least showed one thing - there is no way our interim coach is going to get full time job. He looked to me more lost than any of the players, with less motivation and much more clueless. Watching him run this game really showed me how big problems are. It's not about pure skill and ability, it's about state of mind. I know that he is not expected to start rebuilding everything and to create miracles. But still he has relatively a lot of NHL experience and I wanted to see at least some kind of ... hell, I don't know what I was expecting. He seemed like he was just waiting for game to be over and I am not talking about 3-0, but at 1-0.

Shot mentality! Happy with the compete. Didn't get the bounces. Held Boston to 3 goals. That's a pretty good team. Kings had lots of chances, missed some empty nets.

So now with Murray fired, what do we cheer for? Yakupov, Lombardi to get fired...? Trying to find a reason to watch this crap.

This game shows the bankruptcy of preaching "shot mentality" without having more of a plan.

The Kings get shots on goal (40+ shots tonight) but no goals.

The Kings have been getting enough shots in previous games also.

Bottom line, this team just is not finishing.

I'll always take fewer shots on goal if they are higher quality chances, combined with the ability to finish which the Kings just absolutely are not showing.

I thought Clifford played much better tonight. Doughty looked good too, real solid game, he was dangerous like he used to be.

Our breakout is a steaming pile of ****.

I agree with Mavin Johnson! The shots from the blue line need to go. Rob Stauber isn't the opposing goalie. Shoot from the slot. Not from center ice.

i was happy with our compete

we created some good chances

they had a few lucky bounces

etc etc

cant believe i was excited for this game. but nope, back to depression

may aswell fail and draft Yakupov, then destroy his career before it even starts
