It was at home, what do you think happened?

G:
The 'Hoff - "if you're gonna hit 30, you're gonna have to put up with 10"

B:
Ottawa was a giveaway machine
Credit to buffalo for keeping the pressure on and forcing some of those giveaways

U:
You have to make something out of all of that for it to mean anything

Deserved loss tonight even though there was a good amount of effort there.

WTF is wrong with Vanek and Stafford, by the way? Their vanishing for dozens of games at a time is mind-boggling. There are two players who are either on top of the mountain or in the middle of death valley.

Stafford was the far side, Roy was on the near side. Karlsson carried the puck down the far boards, Cowen crept in from the near point. You can see Roy drift in after the goal is scored right from where Cowen came from.

2-1 odds on "starting the season over."
5-1 on "hope tank."
1-1 on angry Miller interview.

Shots were 30-8 in favor of Ottawa since the midpoint of the 2nd period. This team is so clueless about how to close out a game it's embarrassing. Outshot 44-29 at home to a middling team.

Went from what should've been an easy regulation win (if we finished some of those chances early in the 2nd), to an OT loss. Three-point swing against a division rival.

I'm sickened right now.

This team just doesn't have enough offensive weapons and the players they do rely on to produce offense are too inconsistent.

The Sabres just look incredibly disorganized when they come over the opposition blueline. I can't even explain it, but it looks like a Chinese fire drill.

It seems as if they have one set play....to come in on the right wing and throw it to the front of the net, which was working decently, though they couldn't score.

If that play isn't there, it seems as if they have nothing else to fall back on.

The goals scored were off Ottawa giveaways.....not anything generated coming into the zone.

It's getting really frustrating watching this team that appears to have offensive talent not seem to know what the hell they are doing with the puck on their stick.

Nothing will change. I wish they would all refuse to play for Ruff but pegula is such a blind homer he would trade the whole team first.

Shell mode.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

This is the #1 reason Ruff needs to go, IMO.
