I still think they need to put Dubinsky between Hagelin and Mitchell.

Boyle is a friggin center, and all he does is shoot wide. Does he ever set any of them up for anything?

Reunite Boyle with Prust and Feds...Thats our 4th line and should have been all season.

And at this point, put anybody on Richards' flank. I'd even try Avery again.

It started with the failure to connect with Richards and that really hurt his confidence going forward. I think if you put Dubi with a guy like Hagelin and Avery/ (i would say Anisimov but hes been to good with Gaborik, its get him going. It almsot looks like Torts is trying to teach him a lesson, its a weird situation for sure 1 goal this late in the season.

It like this is new with Boyle hes been the same player, this is why taking stats like goals can be misleading if its one season. Look at Adam Hall and his 25 goals season.

Torts agrees game lacked juice. "Not a lot of hate," between teams in his opinion.

Dubinsky has been a disappointment. A benching is deserved at this point. I think it would put things in perspective for him and light a fire under his ass. If Dubinsky can't score, he's 4th line fodder.

Don't wanna be that guy but Avery definitely could've brought that hate.

Sad but true. 4 year contract with a $4.2M cap hit and 1 goal in 28 games. He's managed to pick up some assists, he plays hard, grinds, he's still young, etc..

But that goal number is a ****ing abomination and they really need him to get going.

Oh and I agree with everyone. Christensen is completely worthless. He is worthless. I have no idea why he is in the NHL right now. Avery and his 5 minutes are 110% more useful than Christensen and whatever the **** he does out there, which is pretty much just take a big steaming pile of **** on the ice each and every night. Sick of him.

This game despite the 34 or so shots, was not much better offensively than the Montreal game. The McDonagh shot is the only difference. Against Montreal we had no good chances, this game we had 1. A couple of other ones that were ok. Otherwise, easy night to be Bachman.

I disagree, last year Boyle was a lot more physical and drove to the net more. This year he's playing like a stiff

Am I the only one who thought Dubinsky looked better tonight?

He's back at LW so he was a lot more involved on the forecheck. He set up two good scoring plays, one was a feed for Gabby who was taken out of the play and another was for EC I believe who muffed it. He still needs to shoot the puck more, but it looks like he's starting to get his confidence back.

Avery has the TIM TEBOW effect!

Everything went in for him early and that gave him confidence and minutes, he also played with Prust who makes everyone he plays with better.

Avery is awful. That's why he's not playing. Can i just point out that you're arguing with the same guy (I believe) who created the "This is a bad hockey team" thread.

EC is fine on the powerplay. He's got creative offensive talent. he has NOTHING else, but he's got talent.

Very frustrating game...just kinda got the feeling that the stars would score when the rangers kept hitting bachman with their shots. Ok next St Louis...maybe they'll call up their AHL goalie to face the blueshirts gnite

Im voting for Ryan McDonagh(other than Hank)...enjoying watching his effortless skating...a treat to watch

Woywitka sucks...Torts should have played the top two pairings with less than 5 min. left

We tried Richards and Gaborik it was terrible, the only things Torts did that was smart was get them off the same line. Anisimov is making gaborik better right now and he has good chemistry lately with Stepan i would not touch that line. it the bottom two lines that need some tweeking.

Most nights. Plus he gives us some grit and hate that EC has none off. In all honesty it should be a debate about EC or Mitchell, Avery should be in no question.

They really need to cut their ties with Christensen and this obsession with Avery is silly already. He'll be out of the league next year.

We tried Richards and Gaborik for like 2 games.

But, i'm not ****ing with the lines after 1 loss. Come on.

CBJ beat Vancouver 2-1 tonight, does that mean they should move the Sedins away from each other and Vancouver is horrible?

If the Rangers did what they were supposed to do and shutout the friggin stars, and he scored a game winning shootout goal, would he have still been worthless? Avery and his 5 minutes are not worth having no shootout specialists in your lineup (Richards hasn't scored all year so he doesn't count).
