All these missed opportunities further prove we need a finisher. Our top guys need to bury those chances.

Need to convert on this power play. If it doesn't keep producing we're boned

What a hit! Colin Wilson got a bit too cute on his pass, though, and turned it over at center

We convert 1 of every 5. We need ES conversions.

Or we need our guys who actually can finish to put the puck on net more often. SK is a top 50 shooting % guy including those guys with one shot, one goal ... the difference is he doesn't shoot the damn puck enough to capitalize on that percentage. Few players convert at the rate we'd like to imagine ... they just shoot a hell of a lot more than our guys.

That's my point. ES scoring isn't happening, so we need to get one on the PP. Otherwise we have to rely on guys actually lifting the puck over Kipper's pads

Doesn't hurt that Kipper's looking very solid tonight. Looking at the dispersion, 22 of the 35 shots from around, or below the circles...so it's not like we're just lofting low percentage shots from the blueline either. Guys need to keep after it and not come out flat to begin the 3rd and I think we'll manage to squeeze another 1 or 2 by them.

Yes... yes he did. And I'll take 1 out of 3. 33.3% PP efficiency?

Bad shift here. We have to clear it without icing it.

can't be right... they had the puck the first 7 mins of the 2nd it seemed like.. 34 shots with 6 min left in the 2nd... thats 1 shot every min.. I think the shot totals have been spiked lol.. we have been putting more pucks to the net for sure though
