Regin picking up where he left off. Solid game from him tonight. But I can't say I'm not worried about having to play without Michalek.

That was Phillips. Cowen did have a turnover where he got his pocket picked and took a penalty shortly after cause of the buffalo scoring chance. I liked his game tonight and was nice to see him play the PP with Karlsson.

Didn't Michalek play half a period after that collision with Karlsson?

Nevermind your somewhat right, first goal against Phillips clear attempt failed, Karlsson went to pass it out and it hit Foligno who was skating back, and the 2nd goal against was when Cowen passed it to Rundblad and he lost it.

Carry on.

Um...

Spezza not getting enough love in this topic. He drove our offence tonight and we come away with a big loss without him.

1. Anderson
2. Spezza
3. Cowen

Oh wait. I mean...Trade Spezza!

First, congrats to the team for the win. It wasn't pretty or exciting for most of the game but I liked how the guys turned the tide in the 3rd period. I hope Michalek comes back soon as I really am pulling for him this season.

Call me a downer if you want but I really am not happy with the play of Rundblad right now. Yes, he may be a great player in the future but right now I would call him our worst D-Man. I thought I could handle him playing while Kuba/Gonchard are out but I think I would rather send him down to Bingo and give one of the guys a few games.

Looking forward to the next game...

Gotta love the fact that despite some shoddy play sometimes this is a team that really looks like they care about each other. The mass swarming and face washing of Cowen after the game is really great to see from this young team.

As long as they continue to have fun while trying hard every night this should be an interesting season regardless of where we finish.

Congratz on the win boys, and lets hope Michalek isn't out for long.

Missed the game and just watched the highlights on NHL.com. I love Miller's dive at the end of regulation when Greening lightly bumps into him.

Forgot to mention, I was pleased with our PP entry tonight. It's very well desgined. Not a fan of dump in on PP but Karlsson was placing them in good spots and Greening was getting them easily.

He definitely hasn't looked great. He did have some nice plays tonight and a nice hit. I don't know if he needs AHL time or if he just needs more time to develop up in the NHL. Karlsson still makes a lot of the same mistakes despite his AHL time and that's on a game to game basis. It might be good just so that he gets more confident and starts using his full talents more as he does look hesitant offensively and defensively.

Didn't see the game, but heard about Michalek. How serious did it look?

Kind of ok, he played a bit after the hit so maybe a concussion.

They should get Lydon Slewidge to perform this before or after O Canada.

At first it looked like a knee on knee. Was very worried. Heard it's upper body though so maybe he landed on his shoulder awkwardly.

Hopefully not a concussion. Has the Maclean interview been uploaded to Sens TV yet? I'm sure he mentioned it.

It looked like his shoulder to me from the replay.

Audio here. All he said was Upper-Body and re-evaluate tomorrow.

I really don't see how it could be a concussion after watching it again. Unless it's a really weird fluke one. My guess is shoulder after watching the awkward landing again.

Just glad it's not his knees. When I first saw the collision all I could think was "Michalek's knees!!" It looked worse than it was I think.
