Who would argue with that? I thought he was very solid in his time last year too for whatever it's worth.

After *****ing about blowing leads and the porous D lately, this was refreshing. Other than the two individual brain farts it was a great team effort to comeback down from 2 and control the game. A pretty physical game, guys sticking up for each other, hopefully they keep it up. I still can't figure this team out.

Angry Patty is the best. Slightly pissed off Larsson is more effective too.

Very pleased by this game. Went down 2 and I knew it was just a matter of time until they broke through. Really glad to get the point and even more so to get the shootout point. Great job by the D after the two breakdowns, I feel. I liked what Foster brought.

if kovy could play like that every game he would tear the league to shreds. though i do think he's too hesitant when entering the zone. he pulls up and waits to hit the trailer rather than go to the net far to often

The dude is built like a friggin truck. Use that size Kovy! He was seeing the ice really well tonight.

I would like to never see that combination of players on the fourth line again. One of the few flaws in the performance tonight.

I think he realized there's not a lot he can do if he's got 2 guys closing down on him.....every time, every game. If he tries to drive past them every game he'll get worn down before the season and probably get caught deep often when/if puck gets stripped off of him. Its bad enough when he's sorta out there as it is. If he's behind the play even more so because of a quick turnover. Yikes.

When he makes the safe controlled pass to the middle and not blindly/wishing it out to the middle, he usually dishes a very solid play the the onrushing D that flies down the other end.. Yeah it looks the same to us, but that play more often than not (at least in the good times) generates a quality shot on net and a rebound chance.

I didn't say that I liked Tebow, thought he was good or invoke religion? I just think it's a cool song, and I was happy we won. DJStevePorter is great.

This team needs a real 4th line center.

I'm relying on the return of Zajac to fix that problem. As soon as he slots into the lineup, Carter goes to the fourth line, and we never complain about it again.

I think Carter is it. When Zajac is ready he (carter) can slot onto the 4th line nicely and Sestito can be sent back to Albany.

The first goal was ultimately Larsson's fault, but that puck should have quite obviously been cleared. We're pinned in our own zone on nearly every shift by the Sestito line.

Pleased that Carter should center the fourth line soon enough and we won't have to see Sestito anymore. Carter appears to be perfect for that role.

Why does it seem like Florida is becoming one of those crappy teams that always gives us problems?

Patty is getting closer and closer to the franchise goals record, too. It'll be awesome when he finally breaks it.

The game highlights is on TSN. The thumbnail for the video is Kovy with a huge smile on his face hugging Marty.

Also in the highlights they show the brawl of the first lines and Fleishmann had a mic so you could hear the refs saying Kovy, Kovy, Kovy lol.

As of right now they're not, but it feels like last year and the year before they've been like the Islanders, they suck but always play good against us :/ Of course, I may be just overthinking all this.

Even though they beat us once and took us to a shootout in the rematch, I really don't think Florida is that good.

It's one line, and those players have to regress at some point. There's no way friggin Versteeg, Weise, and Fleishman are PPG players.

Our boys will be in the air any moment now.. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/ACA7025

I wonder how long before Kurtis Foster actually gets to sleep tonight? Once they arrive at the airport will Lou have a taxi take him to some hotel or something? Must be pretty crazy for the guy..
