Well, I thought I would contribute at some point to this chat board instead of just giving my two sense all the time. The Canes coming off a long night in Phoenix with a terrible effort and possibly the worst defensive game I have ever seen. Injuries that I know of: Ladd (knee), Vasicek (knee), Wallin (wrist), Tverdovsky (PCS) out....Anyone who has status on Stillman and Whitney please chime in.
Chad Larose making his NHL debut (I believe) and has been hot of late in the A. Gerber expected to play in goal tonight facing off against Bryzgalov (5-1) 1.33 GAA in last six appearances.
Anaheim playing a boring brand of hockey these days with less overall talent. Feeding off of opponents turnovers, strictly a counter-attack team. We need to play some puck control with good decision making tonight. I expect us to come out of the gates quickly tonight after the Phoenix debacle the other night. We also need to get some other people involved offensively, it is not good that your second best offensive player lately has been Kaberle....a defenseman.
I apologize if I am missing some info, I am a GDT virgin until today. Please let me know if you think I have left off something important.
