Taveres has been doing all the offensive work with his line and the secondary scoring is just not there. A little shake up is just what the isles need to get back in contention.

For the leafs perspective i don't see Kadri getting any playing time in the bigs for the next 2 years because of the top 6 being overloaded. Kuli and grabo will be resigned, burke just likes them too much.

Toronto:
- 1st rnder 2012

Islanders:
- Nazem Kadri
- Keith Aulie
- 2nd rnder 2012

Kadri will not help this year and Strome might be ready next year and Im higher on him than Kadri.

Im not sure Aulie is the answer for the Islanders Defensive questions.

The Islanders will not give up those two assets lightly and dont see this trade being worth it for them. So again No Thank You

The fans havent soured. We're including him in trade proposals because its evident Wilson and Co. have no intention of putting him in the lineup.

NYI 1st pick will most likely be a lottery pick and Kadri, Aulie, and a 2nd are not worth that IMO, especially with the prospects in the 2012 draft.

November AHL player of the month Kadri? The Leafs are a deep team; AHL player of the month for October Joe Colborne is also stuck behind depth.

That's the AHL and I could name a number of AHL players of the month that never made the NHL. Kadri has to improve his play away from the puck if he's going to make the jump. From the looks of things Colborne is higher up on the depth chart then Kadri.

I think its more correct to say that wilson and co. Have no intentiom of rushing prospects with high potential. It's the right move.

If the top 6 was empty and dying for skill, you could make the argument to bring up Naz.

But when the top 6 has Lupul-Kessel and Mac-Kulie on the wings, why would you rush a prospect into the lineup?

The Islanders currently sit 27th in the league, so what reason would they want to trade their 1st round pick at this point in the season? It very well could turn out to be #1 overall.

It's pretty safe to assume that besides Tavares, this is their most prized asset right now. Unless we get a legitimate star player back, don't even bother asking for it. No, Kadri is not a star player.

TOR takes their time with a prospect - Failed pick, bust, no value

Keep Naz unless the trade has a young #1 center coming back to the Leafs.
Why would we throw away 2 years of developing a prospect just to take a pick back?

when he won it he was 23-24ish.

Leaf fans or management haven't soured on Kadri. They are taking a patient approach with him because of the market he was drafted in.

I love him and think he will be a special player.

I find it funny how TML fans seem to include Kadri in almost every proposal yet they hype him up to be the greatest thing since the slapshot was invented. Keep him and let him be your coveted top line center that you guys have been clamoring for since the Doug Gilmour days.

Isles are real High on Mayfield and that pick will likley be a top 10 and mayby top 5 in a very deep draft......so I see the qanting more for that packege
