Watching it again, and Avery grinning at Anisimov is priceless.

The one thing I'm disappointed with is the lack of the 3-0 comeback. There must've been some epic material in there.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, G! Simmonds looked like a kid outside the principal's office sitting next to Giroux.

Was that Bryzgalov's son in net when the Flyers families were on the ice? He was wearing his jersey so I assume so? If it was he was all philosophical like his dad saying how it was "complicated" etc...kind of funny.

I liked Bryz Jr. "Sometimes, it's complicated." Seems to have a bit of dad's personality.

Lavy had that smirk on his face for like a split second right before they cut to Bryz, and I knew it was going to be something brilliant.

No, you don't... it's there for all to see... and it's freakin' fantastic!! Bill represents all us fans in such a great light... he was a perfect choice to be our rep. His honest reaction to the mere thought of Pelle's accident was perfect; that was how we felt that fateful day, and how it still effects many of us.

I assumed he was... and thought the same as you... the acorn didn't fall far from the tree. I'm assuming the young lady with the figure skating move was his daughter... but I'm not sure. Lovely family.

I need to crank up my old Mac with outdated PhotoShop and put Bryzgalov's head on a tweeded, turtlenecked Carl Sagan.

"Beellions and beellions of stars."

the best part of that sequence was the penalty box conversation with the linesman.

anisimov: what i do? i do nothing?!
dubinsky: he started it! he started it!
linesman: take it up with the ref.

dubinsky's a turd.

Yeah I think it was his daughter. He does seem to have a nice family and he seems like a good dad. I just hope in the playoffs he doesn't start comparing the magnitude of winning the stanley cup to the universe. We don't need him to get "lost" in the galaxy or a black hole....
