Man the intro was amazing. Speech by Laviolette was too good. Someone from the rangers Board uploaded the whole episode to youtibe.

I'd love to see Detroit-Montreal next year. Two great franchises with a lot of history.

Or, Boston-Montreal, since it's clear the league doesn't care if a team plays every other year.

It would be awesome, but I think the league wants the winter classic to be 2 American teams and have the heritage classic for Canada. Which sucks because we won't to see Canadian teams on the 24/7 show

A good point, but it seems to me that the two options I listed would possibly be too big to ignore. It's not like the teams involved have small fanbases, after all. Each option would feature a US team as well. IMO Montreal is the most likely Canadian candidate.

That would be great, but I honestly think the Montreal Canadiens organization, at least at the moment, is way too prude to get involved with a show like 24/7.

I guess everything is possible, but I'll believe it when I see it. The people running the team are known for being as tight-lipped as possible and usually disclose the less information possible about most things.

Very happy Philly chose to do it though, you guys have a great group and it truly shows. The Flyers have always been my second team in the East (even though sometimes you made it hard ), so I'm pretty stoked to watch the show. Bryz will probably get a talk-show out of it, he's THAT interesting to listen to.

Mad respect for Bryzgalov! And yes, the Flyers are a different team and besides a couple of players and the coach, I kinda like the overall team. I'll watch once I wake up!

could you imagine HBO trying to get Mr Potato Head to speak, be passionate etc? No way do we have the character behind the bench to get a series out of this, he is too reserved.

There was a cameraman filming behind the Flyer's net (for period 1 and 3) that I noticed. Pretty sure that was for 24/7.

Not sure I want to see one with Jacques Martin as our coach. We won't see many motivation speech that's for sure.

I saw Lavi was laughing at the end of the game at Chris Lee. I was too. Guy doing a horrible job in almost every game.

Flyers broadcasted a "meet the team" show before the pre-season and had short interviews with each of the new players. When they got to Bryz, he started talking about how we need to start saving the environment or going green (can't remember his exact words) and the crowd started cracking up. He looked at the crowd with this look like he had no idea what everyone was laughing at. It was at that moment that I couldn't wait to hear him speak in post-games, etc. 24/7 was just the icing on the cake.

I also think he made a comment about the murder rate in America or something...oh yeah and he also tried to give a short history lesson about Philadelphia. It was an instant classic. Announcers could hardly keep a straight face.

I doubt they would focus much on martin. He'll give them nothing. My guess is that Gill, Subban, and Price would be the stars.

Anyone watching? Laviolette schooling the ref was awesome. Nice to know that every team coming in Montreal has to face the refs as well, saying how typical of Montreal

God I love this show. Enjoying it much more than last season too. Unless you get teams like Montreal, Toronto or Boston involved, it's really hard to beat a New York/Philly as a backdrop.

Laviolette's Massachusetts roots are showing.

Pretty ironic he says typical Montreal, considering Cole had a goal taken away that game.

No kidding. How the hell is the non-trip on Jagr the game story on that one!? You'd think they'd talk to all the francos on the Flyers team and make the game story the homecoming. Oh well!
