I'm visiting Nashville for the first time in a while, and would like to check out some hockey shops while I'm there, as there are none where I live. I've looked around, and the only one I've come across is Hockey Plus. Are there any more worth checking out?
You can call around to some of the Play It Again Sports locations. I think it was the one in Brentwood that had such a big hockey gear selection, but that was also four years ago. They sell new and used sports equipment.
HockeyPlus is in Centennial Sportsplex. The only place that ices a public ice rink in Nashville and the Pred's practice rink. Also the Play it again in Franklin has always carried a good amount of hockey equipment. Neither of these places are huge so while the selection isn't bad it isn't expansive either.
Other than the Centennial Pro Shop and Play it again, your options are Agame's pro shop and this new store called "Mircale", but they are both about 30 minutes south of town.
