we declined to try for them too. Not paying that much money to be in enemy territory. Philly is just one of those cities i refuse to step foot in. Place is worse than Mos Eisley. An entire city full of sub-humans. No thanks.

I can wait till they host here in NY. Then i will go.

I am not sure of the name of the Hotel but there is a Hotel actually in the parking lot of CBP and Lincoln Financial Stadium. I stayed there twice but I think the name has changed. I went down there with my wife and 3 preteen kids and we were able to stay overnight in one room for under $200. Itwas super convenient as the Hotel parking is also the Stadium parking lot and it was about 15 stories tall if I remember. It might be sold out because I booked months in advance for a Giant/Eagle and Mets/Phillie game but as far as location it is the best. You can probably find it on the internet. Stubhub had a gigantic office there on the ground floor.

Sad to hear. Taking over enemy territory has more merits than simply hosting.

There is a Holiday Inn right nearby the sports complex, but the rooms are probably going to be ridiculously expensive.

question: If I get tickets, is it necessary to get a hotel? I mean, couldn't one just train it back in the same day?

Well yea, no point in hoteling after the game haha. If it was a night game, I'd hotel, but since it is in the afternoon, just train back the same day.

There are hostels in Philadelphia that charge about 30 dollars a night. If you are young, they are a great way to meet people and sleep for a low price.

Does anyone know if I can take public transportation from the 30th St Amtrak Station to CBP and the quickest route and the station and line that would serve the Stadium?
