I'd like to give credit to the Houlder jersey that just arrived today. It lacked the magic to get us a regulation win, but, two points is two points ... not bad for a preseason sweater.

From an unbiased fan, you guys got outplayed badly tonight. If STL just had an average PP this wouldn't have even been close.

Quite a few of those were perimeter shots that Peks saw all the way. Maybe 10-15 dangerous shots .. held to only seven shots on the PP.

The Blues managed to outplay the Preds in most aspects, but, never managed to put a skate on the Preds throat. We can give up shots ... we can take penalties ... if you don't capitalize on most of those chances, the Preds are a difficult team to beat. Hell, we let the Jackets dominate 58 minutes of a game, take an apparently unsurmountable lead ... then beat them in the last two mins of regulation and OT.

um, we watch this team all year... we all know we arent playing nearly to our ability... which makes the fact that we keep winning all the more insane... I cant wait to see how we do when we get our act together

oh, yeah, and that Rinne guy makes it all possible... and we just locked him up for 7 years..

Quality chances were a lot closer than the shot count. Pekka probably gloved 25 perimeter shots easily. Time of possession favored the Blues immensely, but the Preds did a solid job of limiting dangerous chances.

Not the best game for the Preds, but it wasn't like we have zero business winning.

I doubt even Mrs. Legwand wants to see that!! But I could see it used as a threat for other things!!!

We're used to that. Our guys don't need to play for 60min to win. As long as we play the last 5 min, it doesn't even matter if we're down by 2 goals, we will come back and win. That's how we roll.

EDIT: So, if the Viqsi streak gets to the CBJ game should I take the GDT so we can give a OTL to the CBJ's as a thanks?

Slake , just saw some of your remarks on twitter last night about the forwards being low in the dz? And some other comments. Would love for you to expand a little so I can understand a little better.
Also wonder if what you are mentioning is a player adjusting during a game ,

coach adjusting within a game.., or

Pekka saw the puck very well last night. Love the puppy pounce save he made early.

Bad line change lead to the Oshie PP tally. Brutal timing on that, sloppy.

But, we'll take the two points.

I keep telling you all, and you all keep ignoring it...

THE FIRST RULE OF THE VIQSI STREAK IS YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE VIQSI STREAK

Give me a few weeks to butter up the admins here. This WILL be a rule

edit: OK Red didn't work, and I am entirely too hungover to figure out why... I'll deal with it
ed-edit: fixed it for ya...bf

Looks like the closing lacks a "/" and red is duplicated.

And what a bitter pill for the Legwand haters to swallow....

Did anyone catch his post game interview with mark? He looked like he would have rather had an enema than talk to him...

Did I ask for a prescription?! NO!! ( )

Thanks though.

I saw the post game, but I do not remember the post game. Does that count?

50% of the song is just "leggy, leggy, leggy...." which was exactly what half this board was probably saying after he scored. Also it's an awesome song from an awesome show.

Leggy's postgame interviews always make me and my old lady laugh. Tousled hair, missing tooth, scraggly facial hair, and to top it off, usually has his shirt halfway on. If he had a PBR in hand, he'd be the trailer park poster boy.

And yeah, I haven't seen many posts from the Legwand haters this season. Let him go 5-7 games without a point and they'll be back. Whatever.

That pretty much seems to be the general consensus with every single member of the team and coaching staff. Here's the way I imagine it going down.

"Hey, Leggy, you're star of the game. Go out there, throw a shirt in the stands and talk to Mark, wouldja?"

"Nnnnnno thanks. Give it to somebody else, please."

Last night, I had bought 10 tickets together and had 7 kids with me, 3 of which were at their first game ever. Tickets ended up being in the middle of a swarm of Blues fans, who "accidently" spilt their beer down my 13 year old sisters back in the first period. Tears were shead, mean mugs were given and we (thankfullY) scoped out seats in 328 near no Blues fans. Not the best game played but thank goodness for the outcome. Karma.

I'm sick of the trash from STL that make their way to our barn. I'd rather have the Red Wings in town than the Blues. At least they've accomplished something worth boasting about. Instead, they've got fans that get completely trashed and ones that trash talk while I'm holding a 3 year old and a 7 year old is making up her own cheers about "go preds" and "beat the Blues", dude, she's 7, show some class and grow the f up.

I can honesty say that I've only met one person who claims to be a Blues fan who I haven't wanted to slaughter ... and I've never seen him during a game, just at work.
