Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson
Foligno-Zibanejad-Regin
Greening-Smith-Condra
Daugavins-Konopka-Neil
Silfverberg-Da Costa-Stone

Phillips-Karlsson
Gonchar-Cowen
Rundblad-Carkner
Wiercioch-Borowiecki Anderson-Lehner

They will not re-sign Filatov, Winchester, Kuba or Auld, and will trade Lee/Butler
Taking in to account a trade for a top Six forward, I think the team could look more like this:

Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson
Foligno-(Brassard)-Regin
Greening-Smith-Condra
Zibanejad-Konopka-Neil
Daugavins-Da Costa-Silfverberg

Either way things are looking good for the Sens

The Sens should not trade for a top six player until they are ready to compete.

2011- 2012 Lineup

Greening - Spezza - Michalek
Z. Smith - Foligno - Alfredson - Silfverberg could replace Alfredson if he retires or Zibane
Regin - Zibanejad - Condra - Zibane needs time & less pressure, 3rd line provides that
Daugavins - Winchester - Neil/O'Brien or Silfverberg - O'Brien can play centre or wing on any line

Cowen - Karlsson
Phillips - Gonchar
Rundblad - Carkner/Boroweicki

Anderson - Lehner

Pretty awesome that next year's lineup looks to be even more exciting than this year's.

If Alfredsson can still play at a high enough level next year...Put Michalek on the top line on the left and Alfredsson on his spot on the 2nd line.

Michalek
Foligno
Smith
Zibanejad
Silfverberg
Da Costa
Daugavins
Condra
Greening

Karlsson
Cowen
Rundblad
Borowiecki
Phillips

Anderson
Lehner

Spezza and Regin to be decided (depends on their play and available deals). The rest are moved (hopefully). UFAs to fill the holes and maybe Petersson depending on development.

Sign Parise to replace Alfredsson. Other than that, don't do much - we have tons of young players who will compete for spots and the best ones will play.

If we are really sucking at the trade deadline, it might be worthwhile to trade away some of our expiring contracts, and consider trading a guy like Neil.

I can't see Alfie not coming back if he keeps playing the way he is.

Alfie doesn't need to retire for us to sign Parise, not sure why people keep suggesting it either. Alfie is a right winger , Parise is a left winger.

Some realistic UFA signings I would look at are Tuomo Ruutu, and one of Johnny Boychuk or Josh Gorges (although I think Habs will re-sign him).

I think if Murray does goes after a UFA it will a young guy that most did not think would be available & he will have to out bid a lot of teams, could be a huge overpayment. I`m still not sure he will but will rather see where his team & his prospects will fare out next yr.

I could definately see us adding another mobile d-man now this summer..Wideman would be an excellent option.

Greening-Spezza-Michalek
Foligno-Turris-Alfie
Silfverberg-Zibanejad-Neil
Daugavins-Smith-Condra

Cowen-Karlsson
Phillips-Wideman
Boroweicki-Gonchar

Smith is so good we decided to clone him.

Hopefully we clone Cowen and Karlsson next.

What I think will be the lineup with 25 games into the season.

Silverberg-Spezza-Michalek
Zibenjad-Turris-Alfie
Foligno-Regin-Neil
Greening-Smith-Condra

Butler, Winchester, Konopka, Daugavins traded in the summer or this year's deadline.

Silfverberg was basically begged to stay last year so I have no reason to believe he won't be on the roster next year, especially since he is progressing wonderfully yet again this year in the SEL.

I could also see a deal involving Gonchar for Voracek in deadline or someone of that caliber if we are not in playoff contention.

Zibanejad will come over as well.

Michalek-Spezza-Zibanejad
Silfverberg-Turris-Alfredsson
Foligno-Regin-Neil
Daugavins-Smith-Condra
Greening

That top 6 is just orgasmic. A solid 3rd as well as the best 4th line in the league, imo.

Suter-Karlsson
Cowen-Phillips
Borowiecki-Carkner

Anderson
Lehner

In the wings: Da Costa, Filatov, 2012 first rounder, Stone, Puempel, Noesen, Claesson

If Turris pans out, this could be absolutely, so sexy, lovable.

If we end up with a Suter/Parise/Weber/Semin this summer....were gonna win a Cup a lot sooner then many might believe.

I was liking what I was reading...until I read Semin.

I want that fool nowhere, NOWHERE near our team. I've watched enough Capitals hockey to know that that man has no drive and determination to win, a trait I don't want him spreading to newbies like Silf, Zibby Stardust, and Rundblad Ceci.

Certainly can't this year. I want no part of Semin, not what Ottawa needs.

I think you're seriously overrating Wideman. Maybe he becomes a top 4 guy somewhere down the road, but it won't be next season. He's AHL bound. Wiercioch is much further along than him (health permitting).

He's probably talking about Dennis.
