Gotta wonder if CV will look to "punish" the Fios customers by putting big games on the oveflow channels. Still see them in SD but I don't think it's below them to try this.
Maybe............They could also give you the SD feed for MSG +2 while others get the HD feed. lol
Edit: Don't forget Devils are second class citizens on MSG so this more of a big win for fans of NY sports team. However, if you look at the lineup no MSG + 2 for awhile unless I am looking at the wrong list.

The Knicks coming back changes things a bit. The schedule you're looking at may not take them into account.
maybe they will put the msg+2 feed on the MSG+ channel in the local market (ie put the devs on in NJ and isles on in LI)
I haven't seen them do this yet, even on Cablevision. Same games on the same channels regardless of provider. BTW-The FioS channel guide is now showing MSGHD and MSG+HD.

I wonder why MSG2 and MSG+2 aren't covered by this ruling.
Yeah the Knicks back will relegate us to the overflows for games when they and the Rangers are on. I wish I had time to compile the schedules and estimate how many Devils games will be pushed to overflow

I was curious as well. Most likely a technicality.
The Knicks being back effects all the hockey teams. More than a few times last season the Rangers were pushed to 2 or +2 and the Isles or Devils got +.

im fully expecting to sit down for my first HD game of the year, only to have a CV employee ring my doorbell, then promptly kick me in the gonads and slip away into the night.

What are you talking about? MSG + = HD MSG + 2= SD
Well at least I know rangers will be 2nd class citizens to the knicks again this year. lol
Edit: How funny would it be if they only gave you MSG in HD and not the other channel. Are both MSG and MSG + covered in same lawsuit?

Doubt it. They just hurt their own ratings that way.
Here in West Caldwell, we have MSG HD (0578) and MSG+ HD (0580).
MSG 2 (0079) and MSG+ 2 (0081) are not included in the HD channels (0579 and 0581 are still empty). I do not know if HD versions of MSG2 and MSG+2 exist.

They do on Cablevision. Not for Fios, at least for now.
Nice, that's awesome for customers of FiOS. I think you are going to see Cablevision start to lose customers as the news gets out on this.
Now they just need to get MSG+2 in HD as well.
Well its a win for now, but if anyone heard the news over the weekend, Verizon has worked out a deal with the 3 local cable companies to buy their wireless spectrum, and in return will promote the cable companies products .. they also said they plan to stop expanding FiOS ... read between the lines folks .. they will eventually break up the current FiOS subscribers and hand us over to the cable companies .. We are screwed
