I don't expect Wolski to make any difference after being re-inserted into the line-up... I'd actually prefer he not go back into the line-up....

This. Hope he can heal up but I don't want him playing for us.

Staal skated again yesterday, 5 straight days.

Quote:
The upside for the Rangers is that Staal continues to skate hard without setbacks and is intensifying his off-ice workouts to regain strength and conditioning. He’s still out indefinitely but the signs are definitely there that he’ll be able to return to the Rangers’ lineup, possibly still with a good portion of the season left to be played.

MSG had some video on Staal skating with Wolski yesterday. They were shooting on the robo goalie. Staal skated with the Rangers on Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday. He skated with other injured players on Thursday and Saturday.

I love it when the good news keeps coming, even as the bad news for others (Eminger / Sauer) piles up.

Shooter tutor is the proper term

Benoit Allaire was working with Staal and Wolski. Allaire was feeding them the puck. They were shooting at the shooter tutor.

"Needs to come out of the net and challenge more to take away the angles."

Someone told me he's like a brick wall when he's on his game, except he has a few holes even at his highest level.

He'd get burned by Frolov

Darn, I was hoping for some sort of goalie robot that made gloves saves and stuff. That would be pretty sweet.

Does a red jersey mean contact?

Well that's a bit murky. He no longer has the non-contact jersey on, but he hasn't yet been cleared for contact? Either poorly worded by Katie or it just makes no sense.

I want to say the Rangers non-contact jersey is orange, but I may be wrong.

I take it to mean that he's now allowed to participate in drills, but not in drills that involve body contact, ie he can do breakout drills, etc.
