No thanks, only really interested in Matt Greene.

What about?

Matt Greene and Jarett Stoll for Frolik, Stalberg and Olsen

It would cost more then that + Johnson is awful defensively

He makes terrible mistakes and goes for the hit neglecting his D all the time... Fans complain about Hammer/Keith/Seabrook but Johnson is far worse and his mistakes far more costly

Johnson is also one of the most overated dmen in NHL

Greene signed for 2 more years at near 3M and playing #5/6 minutes = Meh

Hawks bottom pairing D would be the most expensive in NHL

Stoll isn't having a good year ,, But wouldn't be terrible pickup

Kings wouldn't do it though as they get nothing of real value in this trade though

all players of interest from the Kings won't be moved. Quick, Brown or Richards are the players we need

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Miller

Crawford
Beach/Smith/Pirri

Buffalo laughs and hangs up the phone.

Like I said earlier, no team is going to trade us their #1, unless 1 of our core players is going the other way. Crawford does not fit in that core group, yet. I'm talking about, Kane, Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabs, Bolland and Leddy.

Miller is being outplayed by his backup while making 6+ mil. He isn't worth a core player from Rockford, let alone the Hawks.

If you're going to pay the farm for a goaltender, Henrik Lundqvist is the man. Though New York would never trade him.

Miller said he has nothing against a trade (Rumor)
Enroth plays good, like Miller.

they have about Zero CapSpace and need a bit of a Shakeup/Wakeup call.

goalies are overvalued. Have you seen what Halak was traded for, what others were traded for?

We would still have enough Cap Space, would still have one of the best prospect Pools and would upgrade our G position. Buf gets something for the future and CapSpace. With this CapSpace they can upgrade whatever position they want.

What would you think of this?

Kulemin for Morin + 2nd

We all saw how well Kulemin can play last year and even with his struggles offensively this year he is playing well defensively

Sorta unfair to judge him for his play early in this season as he lost several close friends in KHL plane crash and it has reportedly wayed heavily on him

But he will be RFA and is young this summer

Could be excellent fit at LW on Toews/Kane line or maybe a LW option for Kruger/Hossa with Sharp moving up to 1st line

Kulemin also could be great 3rd line LW option as well if Saad is ready for NHL and thrives in top 6 role

Saad-Toews-Kane
Sharp-Kruger-Hossa
Kulemin-Bolland-Frolik

Hell of a possible top 9 for next season IMO

I'm not giving Morin up for a guy who can easily be described, at this point, as a one-year wonder. I like Kulemin's game, but he's been awful and I have no interest in adding a struggling forward for a promising prospect.

If you could get him for Stalberg/Bickell +, then fine, if not I'm fine with seeing how Morin does.

I would hardly call Kulemin awful

He played well in 2009-10 in mostly 3rd line role (Until end of year)

And this year even with his offensive struggles his D has been good as has his effort

He's been awful this year, which is what I said, which is the truth.

All people do is complain about Frolik, a defensively responsible forward who's been sturggling offensively but has good effort. Do you want to add another Frolik?

I don't know if trading for a forward strictly for D purposes is a good thing. One Frolik is enough per team.

Reports say that BUFs Roy could be had. Wouldn't mind him on our 2nd Line

I definitely agree with this. However, right now, the team is clicking so good that I do not see a trade in the forseable future. If anything were to go down trade wise, I see it more towards the deadline.

Players I would love to see in a Hawks uniform:
Shane Doan
Derek Roy
Jerome Iginla
Zach Parise
Erik Johnson
Bobby Ryan
Eric Brewer

Hell yes I'd want Roy. One more year at $4 mil per after this season. Hossa, Roy, Sharp...yikes! Would definitely give up a top prospect or two for him. Would still leave room to add a 3rd line defensive winger or 4th defenseman at the deadline.

Or move Kruger to wing on the 3rd line and pick up a stay at home D.

At least a couple of those guys, and possibly Bobby Ryan too, are too high priced for us to realistically look at them.

And while our team is clicking right now, it doesn't mean we don't have problems to address. You listed a lot of forwards there but I think our first need is at the blue line. I have a feeling, if Seabrook is out more than 3 games, we will all remember quite quickly how little depth we really have at the blue line. We didn't play so well when Keith/Seabrook were out earlier. A solid blue-liner should be a top priority pickup.

Aside from that, a Top 9 forward would be great, assuming the cap hit isn't too bad.

Who wouldn't love Roy, especially with his contract? Thing is though, they'll probably want NHL roster players back and we don't have those to give unless you want to try and work something around Hjalmarsson, but D is not one of their weaknesses. Only way I see it happening is a three way trade where we give prospects for what they want back for Roy.

Proabably right. I wouldn't want to move any NHL players unless its a significant upgrade. But we don't have any untouchable prospects in my mind.

I'd give up quite a bit to aquire Kulemin. He's a bigger, meaner Frolik with a shot.

Potential forwards I'd like to acquire:

Tuomo Ruutu
Kulemin
Doan
Anisimov
Stastny
Roy
Antropov
Moulson
Jussi Jokinen

those are for non blockbusters, of course bigger names could be had for more, but I don't want to break the bank.

Potential D men:

Souray
Streit
Bogosian
Beauchemin
Gorges
