And from the two goals they got one bounced off the boards and one was illegal

Hey, I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em! Long overdue for some breaks going our way. If they keep working this hard they'll win more than they'll lose.

Sutter is going to turn Brown into a beast, I have a feeling.

If Sutter wins his first game and the team scores more than 2 goals he'll instantly be a hero

LA Kings. Keeping the bar low for 40 years.

I just want to see a new "attitude" from the Kings.

I think it was Greene's locker room talk that had a lot to do with their play tonight. Greene is one of the few vocal leaders that we have.

Hey guys, good game tonight. I thought the Kings goals were a bit lucky but the way they played in that second period pretty much proves that luck favors the team that is playing better.

Just glad that the game was not decided by the Refs missed call and we managed to tie it up and had a chance to win despite that so no complains there.

I just knew when I saw the Kings didn't score 3 goals in 11 straight games that it would come in this game Good luck.

As soon as the team does something about it, he'll stop posting it, I'll wager...

Good game. 2 points. Good flight home and Sutter is waiting.

Should be official tomorrow. Hopefully Kompon is gone. Stevens can stay, put him charge of timeouts.

I hope he can do to Brown what he did with Iginla and turn him into a fierce competitor.

Bob mentioned Stevens will stay as assistant but didn't say anything about Kompon

Glad he's gone wonder who Sutter will replace him with

So how many of you (like myself) were saying "Why is Brown shooting in the so"? I'm so glad he proved me wrong. Brown's been on fire!

We have now won 2 of 3

best the team has looked in weeks imo. showed some good hustle, nice cycle, etc. if they had been playing like this all along their fortunes and outlook would be very different than what it currently is

Because he's one of the top 3 in the shootouts

The 3 highest SO pct by Kings
Stoll
Kopitar
Brown

Good win. Going home to Richards coming back.
Eventually but not as quick as reported earlier. I thought that report might have been wrong, he hasn't played without the non-contact jersey yet. You don't go from non contact to game action
This was tweetedby Dennis Bernstein of the TFP during the game

Kings team official says Mike Richards has not been cleared for contact. Return still up in air.

It's nice to see an exciting Kings game. They've been few and far between this season.

The win keeps our head above water for now.

Can't wait to see how the team performs under Sutter.

Pluses

1. Brown played like a leader
2. Doughty played like the Norris contender 2 years back
3. Cliffy polished the brass
4. Penner is still improving, showed his size tonight
5. Richie was busting it
6. Kopitar and Quick are still our backbone
7. Stoll looked better, I thought he had a good game

Need improvement

1. JJ needs to take that next step- clumbsy at times
2. Gagne seemed ineffective - will improve when Richie returns
3. creativity - it is starting to show

Overall

- good building block

I think it can be done. I think he can help Penner as well.
