No, not going to ask for Cunneyworth to be fired. Your leader, Gauthier, is the engineer of all of this bull **** we watched tonight.

So essentially you're saying the Habs have given up on this season basically..

Molson said Fire JM, PG said I'll fix him and hired an English coach with the intention of screwing over Molson, lol

Seriously question some of Cunneyworths decisions so far, maybe there is a reason he hasn't coached in the NHL

That org. has really become a JOKE!!

You think Cunneyworth didn't give it his all? I disagree.

And that pretty much just says it all right there. Our D and goaltending have no room for error. If they have an off night or if the other club gets to Price, we don't have the scoring to come back.

Well, it ain't so bad. They will end up cleaning some house soon. Nothing you can do about it, but accept we might suck a while.

Tim Thomas tried to make it nothing. He didn't get a shutout but he was lucky on many shots directed at him.

If I were a fan of any one of the other 29 teams I would be eagerly waiting the return of the captain and/or the highest paid player, knowing that they would bring immediate impact

Not in Montreal

Never said he did. Was just making comparisons to things JM was criticized for before he got canned and was wondering in what ways was this game any different.

Habs are condamned for mediocrity.. I just cant see the light.. We are WAY too soft..

Dont know whats so bad with rebuilding, NHL rewards mediocrity, so lets pull a Pens or a Hawks rebuild..

The more I look into Cunneyworth's personnel management the less impressed I get.

Cunneyworth did cut his bench halfway through the third. The fourth line did not get a shift after that.

And by "fourth line", I really mean Leblanc-Eller-Kostitsyn. Trailing by one, Cunneyworth gave Blunden a shift with 2:24 to go. He left the ice with 2:04 to go. Apparently, this line was going to help tie the game.

This is Carbonneau management. Playing guys for "energy" rather than to win the game.

this mangement team i bet you doesn't even know what to do
maybe PG knows he's going to be fired so he will go nuts and trade young guys for old vets in hopes of winning

what i hate more is a GM who makes moves not to help the team but his own butt
which i can see PG doing

3 weeks ago:

PG: Should I fire Jacques?Hmmm, it's going to be a hard decision. I'll give him another shot.

2 weeks ago:

PG: Things are not looking up, this team would benefit from a shake-up...

1 week ago:

PG: This is it, something needs to be done or else I lose my job. I cannot let this go on.

Last friday night:

PG: *Calls JM and fires him*

PG: *Thinks to himself* Things will only get better for this team!

Saturday morning:

Geoff Molson: So, Pierre, now that you've taken this important decision, I'm intrigued in how you've planned the new coaching staff to look like...

PG: Uhm...*gulp* Yes.

PG:*Thinks to himself* What have I done?!

OMG! WE HAVE A GAME TONIGHT, WHERE'S LARRY? CALL RANDY RIGHT NOW!

Dear Santa;

My list for this year (almost the same as last year)....

Still looking for a real number 1 center.

A defense corps that's not made of pillows.

A healthy Markov.

Someone that's not afraid to drop the gloves once in awhile (especially, when the team needs a spark....which btw is often)

A real coach.

A real GM.

And if you're feeling, really, really generous a 40, or even a 30 goal scorer.

Thanks...

The 4th line plays great ! Darche gave some solid hits. He was very intense !

Subban This is NOT his worse game, but this is the first time that I say that he has played terribly this season. Subban really disappoints me this season. But I still think that he will be a great D in few years from now.

Bruins play a good game, and deserve to win.

A new coach brought in without a plan for the future - that's why he's interim.
Team at the top of the salary cap yet a bottom dweller.
Wow - not since the Reggie Houle days has this organization looked so dis-organized. How can the GM still have his job?
Do you object to the firing of Martin and Pearn? Do you have any bright ideas on how to get rid of Gomez? I suppose you think Gauthier wants him. It' a bit premature to say that Markov won't come back. The "new" coach was on hand. Do you think the ideal coach id just a telephone call away? If you have Patrick Roy in mind, then why hasn't another organization hired him? Oh, I know, he prefers tending to his junior team at a trifling salary.

He probably thought they were playing a good game, which they were, except that they were mostly playing well against the B's fourth line. No clue as to why Eller's line got the least amount of ice tonight.

You'll get a gold medal if you know how to get rid of Gomez, Cammalleri, and Gionta.

Easily the best line tonight, so I'm not sure it matters. The only line that consistently plays well (DD/Cole/Patches) looks off and still produces. The other lines were
meh.

Weber being scratched is a mystery though since he was producing with 4th line minutes.

The rest of the league has figured him out. it's caled a sophmore slump because a player does what made him successful in his rookie season only to figure out that the opponents have adapted and his game needs to advance also. He needs to simplify his game and stop trying to beat the world one on one, he is a definite talent but should concentrate more on the simple things like our best D man (Josh Gorges) and his game will come around.
