Melrose gives praise to rangers

found it interesting that Melrose was putting in some good words on the Rangers (I saw it on ESPN motion). According to Mel: We are fo real

This game tonite will definitely show me a lot about our team

On last weeks show, Boomer Esasion of all people was praising the Rangers. He claimed he's been going to the Garden for a LONG time and never was he so excited about watching the Rangers as recently.

Yeah, Boomer has been a Ranger fan for a while. On the Rangers Stanley Cup video there's footage of Boomer carrying his son through the tunnels at the arena saying, "Thank God, no evertime!" after one of the games against the Devils or Canucks.

And a lot of people criticize Melrose but I actually like him. Nice to seem him mention the Rangers in a positive light.

This maybe hard to believe, but even Mike and the Mad puppy mentioned how well we have been playing. Of course they went back to basketball in the next breath.

man, do i miss melrose...and the rest of the espn crew for that matter. even though he never said anything good about nyr (what could he anyway, they sucked) and clement was the flyers superfan, it was an informative show where i got the chance to keep up with the league. oln post-show is ok, but couldn't they find a show for these great hockey personalities?

Well Barry was at it again. Stated that the big news of the night is that the Rangers are for real and they proved it by going into Nashville and playing the way they did. Also, showed the highlight of the Nylander goal as one of his top plays of the night.
