No thread on the stolen Jets tickets?

BEWARE: a man appeared on Global news (didn't show his actual face) warning everyone about buying tickets online. He paid approx $1,000 for five pairs of Jets tickets. He found out they stolen upon attempting to enter the MYS Centre. The seller stole the tickets from somebody's home and may never be caught. Tickets were in section 320. The news story basically said the guy was scammed and will probably never get his money back and the tickets are now useless.

Yes its unfortunate but its happened before, and True North has repeatedly said not to buy tickets from unknown sources like through kijiji. He bought it from some guy in a vehicle with no license plates? Well brilliant.

buying Tickets off Kijiji is pretty dumb, the only ones i would trust buying tickets from are right from TNSE or Ticketmaster

That is just dumb. There is a thing called common sense but people proably never heard of it.
