ASSUMING Vanek plays:

Vanek-Szczechura-Pominville
Adam-Roy-Stafford
Foligno-Gaustad-Kassian
Ellis-McCormick-Whitmore

Didn't want to split up Adam and Kassian right now...but that third line should make folks salivate. Whitmore isn't really suited to bottom 6 role, but I figure he gets limited time anyways.

IF Vanek does not play (and Grags plays forward):

Stafford (moves to offwing)-Roy-Pominville
Adam-Gaustad-Kassian
Foligno-Szczechura-Whitmore (did these guys play together in Rochester?)
Ellis-McCormick-Gragnani

Stafford has played (albeit brief periods of time) on his offwing, so I could see it happening. If the 3rd line was actually a line in Rochester, then it makes absolute sense and hope for some instant chemistry at this level.

At least they'll get to try out their lines for preseason next year.

Lately, Foligno has been with Rankin and Varone.
Whitmore has been with Lagacé and Voakes.

Foligno-Ellis-McCormick is my guess for the 4th line, but th erest are what I'm expecting as well.

That might be an interesting thing to try slip....even though it breaks up vanek and pommer...it might be time just to spread our NHL players through the roster....

Wait! Where's MacIntyre and Leggio? I'm surprised Persson and Biega won't be in this one. Is Schiestel hurt again? Oh...uh....nevermind...

MacIntyre will be called up when Enroth plays forward in the next few games.

As far as how he does it Ruff said, “It’s trying to put a make up where we can put together what we feel are two good offensive lines and maybe a couple of lines that can grind it out for us.”
