I'd sit him one more game to be safe. The game against NYR is sure to be physical and is more important. No harm to sit him one more game if he is indeed ready to go.
anyone else think that if giroux comes back and looks like he's doing ok(aka no symptoms and renews his point a game trend) that we'll see jvr shipped in a package deal somewhere after they lift the roster freeze?

I'm sure that's what they did with the Colorado game. Ass from what we were hearing he could have easily played that game.
I think Dallas is a better choice than the rangers to come back. He needs too play against a team that isn't too tough defensively so he has a chance to regain his rhythm. The Rangers would definitely be a much tougher first game back and you'd want him to get a lighter game than a tough one like the rangers. (Who shut us out the last game if im remembering correctly). Dallas leads the league in hits as a team( they did last time i checked last week atleast) so i don't think the rangers could possibly be more physical than them.
I just ran into a friend of mine who is a hockey fan but not a Flyers fan. His first comment was that he's wondering if Giroux is coming back because the scoring race has tightened up. I hope that's not the case and that he really, truly is 100%.
I put Giroux's symptoms in WebMD, he either has an STD or Cancer. Flyers medical staff has gotten it all wrong...
what do you mean by that? the medical staff is awesome. I mean we have made some deep playoff runs in the past.
using Holmgrenlogic that means the medical stafff is the best in the game right?

You haven't heard? If they have a nice and shiny PhP it means they know more than us.
Honestly, some people here would not survive the The Milgram Experiment or other types of social psychology experiments. It's all how we view "the man in the lab coat". Sadly some people here will do everything the man in higher authority tells them to do (or in this case tells them what is right or wrong).

One thing I always love about the Holmgren arguments is that if you trust in Homer you're a pawn to the team and if you disagree with him you're a hardcore pessimist. There's never any middle ground in the arguments over Homer here. And if there is a middle ground, it's No Man's Land filled with barbed wire, land mines, booby traps, and snipers perched out every 30 feet.
Anyway, if Roo has been cleared and he feels he can play he should play. He knows his body better than anyone else.

That's because there is never any middle ground in any argument over here.
Philadelphia did not have a morning skate with an early start time due to the game being nationally televised on Versus, but Giroux was one of five Flyers to skate after a short team meeting in their locker room.
