I'd even settle for 35 as long as he continues producing in the playoffs!
I don't want to see him score 60 regular season goals and then vanish come April.
I have faith he can do it if healthy.

Man, that's pushing it. 3 is a lot to be asking the 4 million dollar man to do.

Does anyone know how many goals he had last year 31 games in? He seemed to be scoring every game and then had a long drought at some point and then started scoring again but not at the rate he did early that season.

11 through 31 games last season. Then 11 more rest of the way including 4 in 1 game (Leafs).

Gabby could hit 50.. but I see 40 more likely. He's on pace for close to 50.. but he'll need a couple hat tricks. I love what I see from him so far anyway. He's skating, shooting and playing more D. He's a great player.

19 goals in 31 games is a 50 goal pace. No hat tricks needed. Just sayin..

So happy for him to come back this year and being the old Gabby we all know, I guess he beat himself up a bit last season. . Just let him be healthy and able to play, he's such a great player.

Of the 4 20 goal scorers in the league right now, Gaborik has played the least out of each of them.

He's technically the sole #1 with that.

I'm the resident lunatic of the board who thinks we should trade Gaborik now while his value is high for someone like Bobby Ryan. Mainly because of my doubts about his ability to remain consistently effective in the playoffs when the intensity and physicality of the games increase, I still feel this way.

HOWEVER, I must give credit where it is due. Gaborik has been all over the rink, involved, pushing the envelope and creating chances every game. He's currently on pace for 51 goals. I'm still a big Gabby fan, and I honestly hope he proves me wrong. But I just wanted to give him props for once again, being this teams offensive leader while allowing Richards to settle in and help another line. I'm sure at some point before the end of the season, well see Richards with Gaborik tried again. But Id be thrilled if we head into the playoffs with Gaborik and Richards thriving on separate lines with the option of putting them together if we need a spark or a late goal to tie, ala Crosby and Malkin. It would make us a very difficult team to shut down. Unless......... unless the other team plays the...*GASP*....TRAP!!!!
