If we only played 2 periods, we would be a great team. Unfortunately the NHL make us play 3.....

Luck you mean?
Haha. I typed Leaf and meant Luck. If the Colts get him, they could groom him. Or else they can get really good pieces. The game is at the same time, and we're always talking about rebuilding or not and how and stuff, that's why I'm talking about this. The Colts might have the number one pick and have a good team next year.

Yup, any more losses and we drop from the 127 point pace

Not many bottom feeders have traded their precious top picks recently. I would not bet on that. Unless you're ready to loose Price, or PK or Max pac in the process. ???

I'd trade Patches if and only if we are getting to 2

I would not. Especially for a Russian kid who could become another Zherdev or Filatov.

They don't seems to be of the same fibre than Malkin or Ovechkin or Kovalchuk.

I'm not a Gill fan but with him in the lineup you have 3 offensive oriented guys in Sub , Kabs and Weber and 3 stay at home type in Gorges , Emelin and him which at least balance things a bit more. Ideally he should be replaced by a more physical stay at home D asap. No need for Shea Weber , just some #5-#6 guy who at least throw the body around and can shut down opposite player effectively without having to relay on his reach only.
wow, this is actually a great post, and makes lots of sense. bravo reem. eventually replace Gill with Shane O'Brien

Wouldn't trade patches. We need wingers like patches, more grind and less of these fancy skaters

For the ones who prefer watching our young promising kids tonight to the usual crap of the main team, TSN will stream the Canada Swiss game at 9 ET

Thank you for this info. The fact that McGuire isn't covering it makes it even sweeter.

Haha same here, I don't think I'll mind watching it, maybe a quick look halfway through the game but I certainly don't have a lot of hope left for thim team a this point. Prove me wrong guys.

It would be unfair if we dont give you this game on a silver plate like we used to do with most of our opponents since the begin of the season.. One thing is sure sure, your guys are gonna stay healthy after this one since we are easily the softest team in the league and one of the easiest to play against.. All the best I will personally cheer for you, I think you have an entertaining team to watch that work hard and derserve to make the playoffs!
