Rangers uniform to get a DKNY makeover - what?
This is a weird 'news' article.
The Rangers practice jerseys are going to get a DKNY makeover...

I think the article is a bit misleading. I think all that is happening is that DKNY are going to sponsor some of the training gear.

Not really, seeing as the "makeover" was a relatively tiny DKNY logo on the chest of the practice jersey. The game jerseys aren't touched, so it's not a big problem. At least
I don't think so. Besides, the arenas already look like foreign ones what with the ads all over the rinks.

When FAs/current players/etc praise the Rangers' treatment of the players, whether it's the top notch facilities, private planes, etc, this is the stuff that pays for it. Take it or leave it.

Exactly. Running a sports team is expensive, and if you can get $$ for such a small thing as this, you should.
Also, I bet if it was adidas or something similar people wouldn't care
