There's not a chance in hell I'll give Jagr any cheers tonight. I root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. He's in a Flyers sweater tonight, so **** him.

I'm really excited to attend my only ranger game of the season while visiting relatives for the holidays. LGR!

So you wouldn't have cheered for Giacomin when he came out in a Red Wings jersey?

Had to laugh at this for some reason.

Whatever happens tonight could really set the stage for a WC to remember. Can't wait.

Leetch didn't deserve a cheer either when he came back on Toronto right?

Jagr brought this team back to respectable. He deserves to be cheered tonight. He had one of the best regular seasons in Rangers history.

Leetch was the Conn Smythe winner when we won the Cup and played the majority of his career with the Rangers.

Jagr had a beast regular season where he got screwed out of the Hart, but that's it. He was here for 4 years.

Two HUGELY different examples.

Cheer or don't cheer, I don't care, but if some Rangers fans start booing Jagr, I'll be pissed. We aren't Pittsburgh fans.

Thank you. I should have been more specific with my "I root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back" quote, because there's obviously exceptions for a guy like Leetch. I'm sorry, but IMO I just don't think Jagr did enough for this organization to warrant me cheering for him on MSG ice while wearing a Flyers jersey. I'm not booing him every time he touches the puck, but I'm certainly not cheering him.

It's not like Schenn does anything productive when he's healthy.

although I agree that Jagr deserves a warm welcome, comparing him to Brian Leetch is blasphemy. And besides Leetch was traded and Jagr left on his own. Granted the team decided they wanted him at a discount but these are apples and oranges.

I recommend Rosa's. It's a dive, in the bowels of Penn Station, but you can't beat the price and selection on beer and pizza.

I agree.. After just 14 NHL games last and this seasons, you would think the guy can get his **** together.

Jagr WILL be booed tonight. Traitors get booed, that simple. "We won't do that" statements just make people look stupid. This is New York, we boo people for everything, especially leaving for a rival team. If you aren't booing the opposition, you're not doing your civic duty of trying to get into the opponents' heads.

Not going to boo? Stay home, you're useless.
