Christmas!

or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Winter Solstice Celebration.

What did/are you doing?

What did you get?

Just talk about the Holidays

I celebrate the Winter Solstice. I go out to dinner for Solstice Eve and have a big party! Then, when the moon comes up, we kiss someone. It's a great holiday, it really is.

I get nothing till Christmas yes I celebrate Christmas. And usually i only get like 2 things but they're things i really want, or money. And i go out and buy this 28 pound turkey and then we eat it. Last year i got a 1994 Richter jersey and a new goalie stick. This year I think I'm on the receiving end of a WC Girardi jersey and i bought my girlfriend a signed Ennis jersey.

It just doesn't feel like Christmas time for some reason.

Maybe because of the weather and we don't need the fireplace right now.

Spent last week in Northern Finland (Lapland). Phenomenal experience, quiet and cold. Made me feel even more festive than I usually do.

Happy Holidays guys! Hope everyone enjoys the little things. And then unwrap the big ones.

My main Xmas present was received/bought the week after black Friday. Got a new 60" LED tv.

My wife's bday is Xmas & I have a 3yr old so I spend all my time & $ on them. This is a huge day for us as a family & I'm very excited for them to open their presents.

Christmas is hands down my favorite time of year. We always do it big. Put up a 12 foot tree the day after thanksgiving have the house decorated and tree decorated by December 1st. Have literally hundreds of CD's of nothing but xmas music.

Hope every one here gets to enjoy whatever they celebrate with a win tonight from the boys.

You had me up till the CDs part. I friggin hate xmas music, I don't know why but it drives me up the wall! The worst thing was having to go to my kid's xmas concert at his kindergarten and listen to a bunch of 4 year olds mangle already terrible songs...........yeah, I'm a bad dad ................

My Mom is a fantastic cook and every year for Christmas Dinner she makes Ham, potatos, turnips, and all sorts of other good ****. She also makes tons of Christmas cookies.

I got her some stuff from bed bath and body works, along with 2 cookbooks and a lava lamp. Her b-day is on the 27th so I got her some stuff from Spencers for her 50th, and a book called "the year was 1961"

I got my sister a Boondock Saints Lamp (two guns and you pull the trigger to turn on the light) and a under armour sweatshirt.

I got my dad Wireless headphones and a Giants blanket.

I got my brother in law Mario Kart DS and a WoW game card.

I got my little cousin some zhu zhu game for the DS and a disco ball from Justice (Little girl store that is very uncomfortable to be in alone, people were looking at me like I was a pedo or something )

I got my other twin cousins microsoft points

This is the first year that I have had money to get nice presents and I wanted to get everyone something nice.

Oh and for New Years my mom got a Turducken. That is a Turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken! Are you ****ing kidding me that is crazy!

No clue what I am getting but everyone is continuing to tell me that I am going to have a very nice Christmas so i am pretty excited for that.

Also me and a couple of my buddies are going to the ADTR and Rise Against concert in January, so that is something to look forward to. Also am recently single so that is also a nice plus because I do not have to deal with the **** anymore

All I'm doing is getting extreme constipation from all these potato latkas (or potato pancakes) for Hanukkah.
