He is 6-2-1 in his last 10 with 1 no decision. It's not perfect, but it's nothing to cry over.

Or maybe the fact that he can't play...?

bryz's body of work as a whole is impressive,... it makes me think that he'll rope it in for us eventually. i really hope he does anyway. it would be nice to have a number one goalie in this town that the fans can really gey behind and trust. that way when he has a bad game its not the end of the world, just a bad game. but we haven't seen enough of him to really decide if he's just having a bad year or if this is what we are going to have for the better part of 8 years. i certainly hope its not the latter...

Deceiving. Four of his six wins we have scored 4 (3 with 5 goals) or more goals on the other team. I wouldn't exactly say he was the reason we won.

If by awesome, you mean "check the stat sheet just to make sure he actually played," then yes, in the most simplest form.

I thought that Bryz had a few strong saves tonight. Everyone here is mad at him for goals 3 & 4 and praise Lundquist for the redirection save that he did not make.

In my opinion, Callahan's goal was almost a twin brother of the JVR's, yet PHILADELPHIA FLYERS HF members will shame their own goalie and praise the oponnent.

Goal # 3 is totally on defence, the forward always has an upper hand on the break awaye. Does not he?

I agree, Bryz has not been stealing games, but beating him to the ground every game will not solve the problem.

Defence lost the game tonight.

As for the offence, that was not the best night. I thought that Roo and Jagr overplayed and overpassed the puck. Simmonds was not in front of the net, wher he does score goals; and the fourth line was not as vibrant as in Dalas.

P.S. I expect to be crucified here for defending Bryz.

1st of all we did not lose because of Bryzgalov. I do not think anyone blames Bryzgalov for 3 1st goals but 4th goal was soft. Bryzgalov is no Tretiak, he is not even Mishkin. That 4th goal is inexcusable. Fans just want to see solid games from him. Nothing wrong with that

my friend i've been in bryz's corner since day one. i think he needs at least a full seasons worth of games under his belt before we decide to put him in front of the firing squad.

We didn't pay him 51 million to not be the one at fault. He's paid to excel. If we even need to say that he wasn't the one at faut, then that's not good enough

So, are you more upset about his paycheck or his play?

Heat of the moment. People say crazy things, what can you do. He was solid with exception of one goal.

Taking NY Rangers with 5-6 third string rookies and Shelley. Come on.. We are not winning this game.

Are yo saying that a goalie of his caliber is expected to win every game he plays regardles of the team in front of him?

Come on now. He's a rookie fourth liner here to be physical. Do you really expect him to play tons of minutes and score goals or something? What exactly do you want out of him?

lets at least give him the chance to earn his paycheck. 20 some games isn't enough to say he's a not worth it imo. he could be having a bad season, or he could just plain not be worth the money, by the end of the year we'll have a definate answer to that question but for now a quarter season doesn't give you the longest timeline to judge a goaltender imo. but i'll be the first one to drive him to the airport if he plays poorly after 82 gms. especially in the post season. i really want bryz to be our guy, it would be nice to be one of those teams who can brag about our net minder
