Useless FLA gets beat down to prevent first in the East. Getting excited about seeing the team making a March run at the President's Trophy rather than the 8-seed. Still early, but this team looks great.

2-0 vs Flyers.

And have played great defensively. Jagr/Giroux line was pretty much shut down.

Maybe now finally on the main board they'll stop disrepscting teams who's goalies are their best players, like they did to us. Congrats NYR

I really don't know who to vote for. Girardi and McD totally shut down the Flyers top line, MDZ was a warrior all night and the rest of the d did a fantastic job, plus Bickel got to assists

The Boyle line was tenacious all game long, Dubinsky was just flying and the top line was looking good as always.

meanwhile, Hank was Hank.

If I have to choose I'll go:
Hank
McD
Stu

I am really surprised that DZ was not selected as a star. he was owning the defensive zone

Henke, McD and Bickell, with Dubi getting the HM. But, all-and-all, just a great effort all around.

if they compare performances of Bryz to Lundquist, they must clearly notice where black spot on their team

It will...No data to look it up, but Henry is our kriptonite. Usually an automatic 2-1 loss

Dubi-Boyle-Mitchell may have been our most effective line the past two games. They are physical, their board play is excellent, and their puck possession game is impressive. Almost every shift they have the puck deep in the opposition's zone.

Also, Dubinsky is sooo much better at left wing than center. I don't want to see him play center again unless we are forced to due to injury.

Hank was exceptional as always. His rebound control was probably the best its been all season. The defense also deserves a lot of credit, they did a good job of shutting down Giroux, Jagr, etc. and got involved offensively as well.

Yup...I'm looking forward to those games. Boston a team we actually mirror, and I look at them as the gold standard in the east right now. The two teams play similar games, so it should be fun.

HEAR YE!! HEAR YE!!

I know I'm usually the "realist" as some would say; the "debbie downer" as others would say. Hell, glass half empty? There's usually no milk at all. I'm negative. But let be known, I'm finally gonna say it once and for all: Machinehead is starting to believe in this team.

1)Bickel
2)Hank
3)Stepan

We've got four!!

Merry Christmas

First game late January.

Staal and hopefully Sauer should be back by then.

Going to need them...
