POTG: Hank was fantastic through and through. Some games he just locks in and tonight he literally let in no rebounds.

Good: Boyle had another great great game. Dubinsky was awesome. Del Zotto continues to dominate on both sides of the ice. Our top pairing played fantastic. Bickel getting the job done. A lot of goods tonight.

Bad: Just the first period, but everyone was pretty awful.

Redden: The Devils winning in a ****ing shootout again. They are literally like 8-1 in the god damn shootout.

Jagr was flat out dominant as well.

Good way to end the week. Tomorrow I depart for the land where the beer flows like wine.
that's actually going to hurt them more than help them.

Lets say they are tied with another team, I believe the 2nd tie breaker is Regulation Time wins.

Shootout wins are no longer given the same importance as a Regulation win.

Bickel and Erixon both played under 10 mins again.

The other four each played around 25 mins, including Stralman.

I think Lou might be regretting that one.

Great win. I thought Boyle line was our best line. Dubi was all over the ice tonight. Great deflections by Feds and Stepan. I thought Stralman played a real strong game. He played almost 25 minutes tonight. That hip check was awesome too.

Came back, watched rest of game, it is readily becoming apparent that this is a very deep and good team. After the Flyers scored their first goal, they just came back and showed the Flyers they are just plain better. Would be nice to see Richards do something, but what is really helping is the 3rd and 4th lines starting to play better, particularly Boyle and Dubinsky. Seemed that the Flyers were trying so hard to score, they were sending in everybody, asnd haven't seen so many 2 on 1's and 3 on 2's in a long time.

When Woywitka comes back, trade him for a 6th round draft choice, much prefer Bickel as a 6th man.

There are a couple of players who should get stars for tonight but I will go
1. Hank
2. Gaborik (3rd goal really sealed it for us)
3. Bickel

I was at the game and haven't seen much written in this thread about Stralman, thought he was great tonight with that huge hip check, was good with the poke check as well, and made some nice passes. Once Staal and Sauer get back we will have a very very good defense that can really jump start our offense with outlet passes.

The Boyle line was very good as others have mentioned, especially controlling the puck.

The only bads I saw would be Rupp had a pretty rough game, especially with that Kovalev shift where he could not clear the zone with multiple chances or get off the ice and Richards has not looked that great as of lately. Not sure if something is wrong, but he isn't creating much. Oh and the 5-3 is still pathetic.

Definitely the best non-playoff crowd I have seen in the last 10 years at the Garden, there were literally no empty seats and it was loud!

Stralman made the guy explode. I've never seen a guy actually go flying from a hip check. Usually they just get pinned / crushed along the boards, but the flyer actually got launched. It was a great hit and even greater because of the intensity and momentum that had been going back and forth for the minute or two before the hit.

Yeah, it was insane. I didn't see it perfectly and I was confused for a minute since everything just came to a halt, so I thought he boarded him or something, but that was a disgusting (GOOD disgusting) hit.

1. Did Hank give up a rebound all night? One of those games where it is easy to take him fir granted as it wasn't flashy, but a truly great effort.

2. I am floored with how well the D is playing. Sky is the limit for McD. Bickel makes the smart play with the puck 9 time out of 10. Stralman had a great night and Erixon filled in nicely. Just awesome contributions across the board.

3. Dubi is back to his old self. Glad to see people in here recognizing Boyle's strong play too, he's been putting together a good stretch.

Only player to call out is Richards, going through a rough patch.

All in all awesome night.

Winning games, extending win streaks and most importantly shutting up the non-believers one game at a time all while missing 3 regular defensemen and even to a certain extent wolski and avery (i still think boyle deserves to sit out)

Team is so far better off without the Wolski's, the Christensen's, etc. (would trade Christensen and a pick for nobody).

I'm actually starting to think richards is playing through an injury. his passing and shooting just don't seem the same...and i can't remember the last time he took a wrist shot. Maybe it has something to do with him slamming into the boards a few games back?

Does anyone know if that between-the-glass guy is okay? Looked like he took a skate to the stomach.
