Just finished watching the highlights. That crazy reverse spin around move by Gardiner shouldn't work at this level of hockey but I just saw it did. I still can't believe that Burke got Gardiner AND Lupul for Beauchemin.

The Nassau Coliseum has to be the darkest, dreariest arena in the NHL. Watching the highlights seems like I'm watching highlights from 1980's or the AHL. And are those Islander uniform ever ugly.

Pretty sure Ron Wilson just became the first NHL coach to angle for a contract extension on Twitter.

gustavsson should have got the start tonight I think. He has played good, almost like a slap in the face to not start him on a back to back situation.

Why shouldn't it work? It's a very effective change of speed and direction...

Oh yeah, horrible. I'd rather see the fisherman ones from the 90's

Was it just me or were the Isles nice enough to give the Leafs their own little goal song each time they scored? I could've sworn I kept hearing Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" play immediately after each time the Leafs scored. Either giving the away team a goal song when they score is not normal or I'm extremely unobservant.

Didn't notice...

I did notice a stupid song played every time at the commercial breaks. Couldn't tell if it was TSN or the Isles.

Bozak has more points, and a much better +/- than Paul Stastny.

Just sayin'.

wouldn't it be awesome if we had depth at center so Bozak could be that guy on our 3rd line permanently....

FTR - I really like Bozak, our team is much better with him in the lineup, first line or not

If only Connolly converted on his chance there, wow. Would have been goal of the year so far.

Same as his total last season.

It was a sophomore slump.

Yeah, and a really bad case of the slump. I didn't understand all the hate on him last year. His problem was that he was too focused on passing to Phil and once he got over that he was able to totally open up his game.

He's definitely got talent, and I'm glad to see him succeeding this season because he seems like a really good guy who makes the locker room a fun place to be.

I was wrong about bozie, he has really stepped it up this year. If he can keep up the production, he would be a good second line center.

Having Lupul to start the year also is really helping Bozak as well. It's not just about feeding Kessel the puck anymore he has a another big time option with Lupul. That whole line has gelled through the whole year.

He also made a nice defensive play to knock JT off the puck in the Leaf's zone before the goal. He was however invisible for the most part of the game but its nice to see that even in his "bad games" he still manage to put up points or make key plays to help the team win.
