Each Los Angeles Kings skater who is dressed for the game gets to be on the ice some of the time. Even after the Kings have already scored two goals, it is still a legal play to shoot the puck into the opponent's net, even before a shootout.
Every single Los Angeles Kings player is a Dark Horse to get a third goal in a game.
Points are awarded as follows:
A regulation win, overtime win, or shootout with Quick is worth two points in the standings. These are very hard to get if you score no more than two goals per game, because the team with the most goals at the end wins the hockey game.
An overtime loss or a shootout with Bernier is worth one point in the standings. These are not easy to get either if you only score two goals in a game.
A regulation loss is worth zero points. Look forward to many of these if you cannot score more than two goals in a game.
Once the game has ended, no more goals are allowed. Please make sure to get the puck in the opponent's net a third time before the end of the game to be fair to your teammates! Good luck!
