Kings would be a bottom 5 in the league, if it wasn't for Quick.

Pathetic. Even though the Sharks controlled more of the game, the Kings had more than enough chances to pot at least one goal to help Quick out. Instead, they miss one chance after another and leave Quick high and dry after playing a stellar game. He was rightfully pissed at the end of the game; hopefully it doesn't get to him too much, because without him this season would be much uglier than it is right now.

Entertaining game, honestly didn't deserve the two cause San Jose just straight dominated.

But damn can we convert on some hard earned chances every once and a while...for the love of god..

This is why you move Jack + for an Elite Winger with speed.

Dean Lombardi has to be at least looking for some kind of scoring help. Quick is a tough guy, he will not blame his team he never has. We can always count on Quick to play his guts out.

Wish the rest of the team was the same.

its all Jim Fox's fault, if he got off Couture's jock he probably wouldn't of scored, God he is ***************** annoying sometimes.

well 2 games in the sutter era i noticed we aren't playing a conservative 1st period and williams suddenly found his skating legs...... but yea our offense still is awful.

6 years later and Brown and Richardson are Kopi's wingers.

Is no one else pissed that HP Pavillion kept the music blasting during Clowe's shootout winner? You can't tell me that didn't **** with Quick's head (more than Clowe's forsure). I'm pissed.

I'd go you one better, the Kings would have the worst record in the NHL without Quick

I love Kopi but he is a bum in the shootout, needs to go back to Sweden '94. I don't get what Richards was trying either. Quick deserves better than this.

Unfortunately the LA Deuces, could not hit their normal 2 goal mark tonight.
Jack Johnson apparently lost his shoot out skills somewhere along the way since
he is not even considered for the top 4.

Quick was great

I do like the way Sutter talked to Doughty after he got into that slap fest with Thornton..

Awards:
Not enough scoring skill. Talent is there but very few players on this team pick a spot behind the goalie and hit it.

It's just nice to see a bit of spark in the team, Fraser seems to be a good addition in the fiesty role.

Time for DS to bring a better or more aware or just plain old different PP coach. If the team had tuned out TM they can't be listening to the guy who is the architect of the worst PP in the bus for the pas forever.

Keep Ranford and bring in people who can get things done.

Other than that

GREAT GAME KINGS!!!

Keep picking up the points as many as you can and let the rest work itself out.

Nice effort and GREAT compete on back to back games where one was against the worst in our division and the next night you played the best. Solid effort.

DD8 played particularly well tonight as did MR.

Kopi looked like he struggled a bit but was solid for the most part. I heard that there is a bronchial going around the locker room so while it isn't an excuse it might be a reason that some of the guys are struggling a little bit. Gags had it pretty bad for about a week and even lost his voice for a day or two maybe.

Change takes a little time and we are now only 2 games into the DS regime. Two games and 3 points.
