You need to go watch the first period from last night. Then come back here and talk **** about Boedker. Go ahead.

Watched the game and still no production, just a nice end to end rush with no result. He got power play time and top 6 forward ice time. In your eyes is one period out of three good enough? This is year 4 and still no results. I did not like Turris either because of his poor play, it is just sad that a chance to stock the roster with 2 top 10 picks has failed.

While I do agree the Boedker needs to get more points more often at the same time the rest of his game is fine including where is he great at drawing penalties. The Power Play is a far greater issue than to blame one player on.

One rush? Really? How about only player on the team not named Oliver that can actually gain the ****ing zone with possession of the puck.

I noticed this too. It's been going on the whole year. For some reason we have an unbelievably difficult time gaining the zone. It kills the flow and usually leads to turnovers. I think it's a huge problem for this team that needs to be addressed.

I thought it was just Gretzky days that made this an issue, but even under Tip it hasn't been resolved. It's so frustrating.

He's no longer on the Coyotes, where he detracted from the team. Whatever he does, he does. Addition by subtraction, even if Rumblad and the second never pan out.

Anybody see the Ottawa - Philly game? Scoresheet shows Briere and Turris having a go.

Briere with the hat trick so that looks like a bad trade off for philly sitting in the sin bin for 7 minutes.

I may be willing to forgive BizWussy for failing to be a proper goon if just for one time he can kick the living piss out of Turris.

Doubt it. Biz is too nice. I'd like to see Doan truck him though.

I would not want to get in a fight with Doan, but another player I wouldn't want to get in a fight with would be DeMo. After the hit from Abdalkader put on Yandle, DeMo was the one right there to step in and lay him on the ice. I don't care who goes at it, Turris is tiny, and any of the old players from this whole ordeal should want to lay him flat on the ice.

I thought Bissonnette was here to PROTECT Turris?

Turris would be dead. No joke. He would die.

Hey guys; I've been surprisingly impressed with Turris' defensive play. Tippett taught him well. He's +8 in 10 games, and they're not afraid to play him at any time. He certainly needs to add some muscle, but he does compete. Our team is so much better with a 2nd line centre which has been our biggest weakness until acquiring Turris.

I'm not here to rag on you guys. I really like Magic Number 7 (well, I guess he isn't 7 anymore), his dangles make me drool, they are so sick. He was my co-favourite Sens prospect along with Zibanejad. I'm looking forward to seeing him dominate after he learns to play NHL D.

I don't see how the trade can't be win-win; both teams addressed a position of need both players have high talent levels. Or maybe Rundblad will be traded again for another high end prospect, haha. I hope he gets to play soon, want to watch.

To be clear, Phoenix was never really in a win situation IMO. They have spent a long time waiting for Turris to be a top 2 centre. Phoenix needed him to be that in a big way.

Since he forced the trade it was impressive GMDM could get Rundblad in return.

Hopefully for the Coyotes' sake Rundblad develops as projected.

Is Rundblad doing..anything? Shows he only played 1 game for Phoenix and nothing since. No AHL or anything, is he just being pressboxed?

According to his blog he is traveling with the team for the next few days then heading down to Portland to join their AHL team. Apparently he is happy to get the chance to play and he'll get some use out of the winter coat he bought after all.

read Adrian Aucoin's thoughts on getting time with Playfair and how much he learned as a seasoned vet about the position of playing defense during their time together in Calgary. Understand that and understand why Maloney is very content to have given Playfair the last three weeks to work with Rundblad on a daily basis.

Just wait until he stops wanting to play, again. Guys like Turris are very selfish. They pout if things don't go their way.
