And the rest of the games are now meaningless, unless you want to factor in draft order.

As for the people blaming the Jets all over...It's the Eagles own fault for not controlling there own destiny.

Another year of, "What could have been?"

Nominee for post of the year.

The eagles horrendous start put them in a position to hope that the team that they beat relatively easliy last week would come back and beat the giants.

Bottom line is that the eagles were picked by nearly everyone to win the division and they will finish no better than .500. A completely disappointing season and because they finished strong Reid and company will be back for yet another year.

That is the sad part. We have another year of big red and the dog killer. Dallas could care less about this game and the skins suck so with these two victory's all the band wagon jumpers will be right back on the wagon again. Some say dream team. Me, I say 1960!! That is what counts in my mind.

GO GREEN BAY!!

It's always good to beat the Cowboys, but I wanted a shutout.

What a **** sandwich of a season. If you had any ounce of objectivity, though, you should have seen this coming. The entire organization is fraught with losers.

Anyway... so long, Juan; hello, Spags?

http://www.csnphilly.com/blog/eagles...518&feedID=704

Just as everyone has been speculating and hoping for all season.

Well I was hoping for the Fat Man to leave town, but his team rallying to beat such powerhouses like the Miami Dolphins, exposed Sanchez led Jets, Dallas' second stringers, and probably beating the perennial NFC East doormat Redskins really saved his bacon.

If true about Spags, way to go! Putting in a qualified defensive guy after the season when you're "all in" was much better than doing it before the season. Also, 4th defensive coordinator in 4 years. That just screams a team that's got the handle on things on that side of the ball.

Id obviously want Spagnuolo but we need better players on the defensive side of the ball. We need at least one play making lb and a safety. I also would like to get another run stopping end so we can use Babin primarily in passing situations, because he isnt good against the run.

If Spags is here I hope its as Head Coach rather the Defensive Coordinator but I'm ok if he is Defensive Coordinator and takes over from Andy when his time is finally up

And they'll come out and say how they've made progress during the season, act like the season wasn't an unmitigated disaster, and wonder why the media act so pretentious and with contempt towards them.

Couple that with the fact that their drafting on defense has been a complete disaster. Safeties with 2nd round picks back-to-back years, and they refuse to draft linebackers.

Why is it that the Eagles don't win the division? They went 1-1 against the Giants and went 5-1 within the division.

Shouldn't be of any surprise to anyone but in Lurie's presser today he made it official and announced that Andy wouldn't be going anywhere and any other coaching moves are still under Reid's discretion.

This after pontificating about this being the most disappointing season since owning the team, the 4 remaining wins being fools gold, having accountability, etc.. So basically he decided to call the press together to give them no news.

He also compared the Eagles to the Ravens.

Last year he compared them to the Steelers, who the Ravens can't beat when it counts.

Next year, they're going to be the Chargers.

He's probably pissed that the Flyers are the talk of the town right now, and decided to swing that momentum

Reid's staff should be on short leashes, but they probably won't be.

Slightly off topic, but I wish they brought Tra Thomas on DNL more to talk about the O-line. It's refreshing to have someone who actually knows what they're talking about when discussion the line, instead of most of the "reporters."

Quite possibly one of the best playoff games since the Steelers/Cards SB.

Yeah, really all around great game. It's games like that why I watch football. Also, I'm absolutely in love with that 49ers team. They play the game like it's supposed to be played. Hit you in the mouth first and ask questions later. I mean, did you watch Justin Smith play for example, the man is a beast. Vernon Davis starting to cry uncontrollably after catching the decisive was extremely awesome to see as well.

Go Ravens!

Are you ****ing kidding me, the giants may win another SB? The good thing is though that all the Giants fans I know are Mets fans, so they always bring up SB 43 and then I just talk about the Mets.
