I ordered a red rider bb gun with the full intention of shooting my eye out.

Happy Holidays to all!

I won't be getting gifts until Christmas day, but I'm looking forward to the annual fish dinner at my grandmother's house tomorrow.

Survived craziest month of all time at work.
Got a bottle of good red wine as a present (from work). Enjoyed it.

Plans for the next 72 hours are: watch the game, sleep, drive to the countryside, eat, sleep, show 24 / 7 to girlfriend, eat, sleep.

Got a gift card to acupuncture for my significant other, hopefully she'll like it.

I definitely won't let this game ruin my Hanukkah.

Is it too late for me to ask Santa for a Stu Bickel jersey?

Time for me to start bragging about how awesome it is being 14

From my mom: New computer case, and Optical drive, Shogun 2, Age of Empires 3: Gold Edition, Some random book, shirt and pants, and subscription to THN

From Dad: TBA, but I know there's an iPad in there

From Grandparents: TBA, but probably books, board games and 500+

This totally makes up for me getting screwed over on my birthday

Does this make me a horrible person?

I'm 17 and never recieved gifts that awesome. So yes, you're horrible.

EDIT: An iPad alone makes me hate you, and then "$500+" on top of that?

I just got 800 dollars less than a month ago

I'm the only "child" in my close family, so everything goes to me. But once my cousin is born...

Edit: It also helps that my parents are divorced, therefore giving me 2 Christmases, and they try to buy me over

I'm thinking I might have to buy some WC gear for myself as an xmas present.

My damn kid got Cars 2 from 'santa' and I've already had to watch it twice, it's going to be a long day..............

I don't want to be the Grinch here, but can a mod change the title to Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas for us non-Christians? It's not a big deal if you don't, but since this forum wants to be fair to everyone of every culture, I think the right thing to do is change the title.

What happens if you don't have holidays?

I've actually read this on a few other US based forums I post on. What's the big deal? I'm certainly not a christian or religious in any way, shape or form but I don't really see a problem with labelling the period from approx 20 Dec - 03 Jan as 'christmas'. Yeah I understand where the word comes from, but like a lot of other old traditions, who cares now? Use the word and just adapt it to what you see fit. Cultures steal words from other cultures all the time, you don't have to take all the trappings that go with it.

Either way, hopefully everyone enjoys themselves over the next few days and stays safe

You could make a "Happy Festivus" thread.

I usually don't mind when people say Merry Christmas, but I would get a bit annoyed if I was in some place that emphasizes equality and there were signs everywhere saying Merry Christmas.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone.

Very glad for the Ranger's win streak and 1st place in the division!

My fiance got me an early present, an awesome Lundqvist heritage jersey! I wore it to our 1st NHL game when the Rangers cam to Phoenix.

That. We're poor, though, so I'm not getting an IPad. (Did get a Nook, though).
