I'm not as afraid of trades as many here seem to be. I was happy with the Kaberle-for-Spacek deal. Kabs was a talented player who was underperforming, who left a team with zero chemistry and improved on his new team. Does that description sound eerily similar to Cammy?
Our team has a lot in common with Columbus -- we both have plenty of good pieces that, for whatever reason, aren't fitting together as well as expected. But the individual pieces carry value, and there's potential for a big win-win scenario. Unlike Columbus, we're one or two pieces away from being a strong playoff team -- problem is, one of those pieces is chemistry, which is huge. The other big piece is scoring, which is why Carter or Umberger would be perfect, with Brassard or draft pick to seal the deal. In return, Cammy and either AK/Desharnais/Weber/Diaz.
That said, this is all make-believe crap for now...

Why is everyone on the anti-cammy bandwagon. He's having an off-season, our entire team is having an off-season. He was once the #1 goal scorer in the post-season, he was the jedi, the elite sniper, now everyone is wanting him gone. If we get rid of him he's going to go to another team and pull a Pouliot/Higgins. Book it.
